It may sound petty, but this still looks too much like the i phone for me.

Wow, if any thing I'd hope that they'd shut down the Att locations. While most cell phone stores seem overpriced and unnecessary as it is, I've had nothing but unsatisfactory experiences at ATT places. T-mobile on the other hand has always been very helpful. Like others have said , the existence of soo many cell

I asked one of the employees at my local electronics shop about that. He said that it won't be a monopoly because voda phone will be coming to the US ( after coming to some agreement wiht verison) and will have GSM. Not sure if he was bullshitting me or not though.

I think that in the states the majority of people old enough to smoke already know the risks. I'm sure the tobacco company has long sense come to terms with the effects the anti smoking campaign has had on american demand. If any thing the Us needs to help educate OTHER COUNTRIES where People (esp those below the

I could really see the house thing working. If they use the same principle as luxury car keys it seems expensive but doable. If the battery or power goes out then they could just have a traditional key that still works as a back up.

Hmmm. There's a difference between "wearable electronics" and stuff that's just slapped onto other stuff for the sake of adhering it to your body. I think that light up shoes and jackets if picked up my major designers could totally take off , but things like LCD goggles and wearable lap tops seem MAJORLY gimmicky.

Some of the shows are from the 80's .But I mean the 90's WAS a decade of filling day time time slots with copious reruns of 80's shows.

Yeah, this really just comes off as yet another " INTO THE FUTURE" Gimmick that will eventually fall victim to lack of infrastructure.

Yeah, I agree with your point on mistaken charges. What if my phone is running slow and accidentally charges me twice for something because I hit the button again hoping it would load. What if my phone dies or drops and breaks while I'm making an important purchase? Then what?

This article makes some valid points. Even though WP7 has only been out for a few months I'd hate to see it end up like the zune. Sure the zune HD is a great device but had the original zune been nearly as polished who knows where it could be now. Seems like the windows team is loosing a lot of ground in their quest

When will something that looks that sleek be cheap enough to toss around at weddings.

I wasn't aware that baby G watches being ugly was a NEW let alone news worthy occurrence. That huge picture on the front page just for this half paragraph humorless article. " MAN that watch is SOO ugly, w-when I saw it, I was like MAN THAT WATCH IS UGLY"........ -_-.

How much did cable internet cost back then? I'm sure it wasn't cheap. Maybe he couldn't afford it.

@Zaos: Yea seriously. She does weird/crazy soo well. I loved those paintings she'd do.

Yeah I know that in some cases the actual price is spread out and added to the bill. I'd much rather have that than have to pay 600 upfront. I don't mind having to extend my contract.

A lot of the issues people have with the buy out have to do with competition. Even if it's just att the parent company buying t mobile, you've still lost a GSM competitor.

I'm just hoping that they don't find some loop hole.

Yeah, as much as I love my tech , if things keep going at this rate I'll be forced to get a cheap adequate plan sans the bells and whistles. You can have the most top of the like phone on the market and it can be virtually useless if bogged down by a terrible network.

Seconded. Seems like consumers are being slowly but surely squeezed into these higher price brackets.

Yeah it's possible to unlock a phone to use on another GSM network, but to do that you most likely have to purchase the phone at its full retail price. What I was talking about are the phones that the carrier provides. I've noticed that Att has a larger phone selection that updates more frequently than t-mobile's.
