For some reason the books never disturbed me, but the film version of The Witches scared the HELL outta me - it gives me the shivers thinking about it now! But my PERSONAL fave to jam out to as a kid was The Magic Finger.

I've heard of Brene Brown! But I moderately dislike the person who told me about her, so I haven't given her a shot yet. I just looked through her books on amazon and am not sure where I should start - any suggestions?

Looks like she's New Hampshire, not New Jersey.

ALRIIIIIGHT, FINE - where can I watch this? Netflix/hulu/etc?

dude, I am so there with you. We’re Scottish and I never knew my grandfather (he died when my dad was quite young) and one day I was like, “dad, what was your father like? I realized I don’t really know much about him at all” and his response? “well, he only hit me once”

reminds me of a Neil Degrasse Tyson quote that goes something like, “if you want to build a cake from scratch, you have to create the universe"

Before even reading the article, I AUDIBLY SCOFFED at the headline.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving was the 8 year anniversary of my abortion. Best decision I ever made, and I am eternally grateful that not only was it an option for me, it was accessible, and nobody made me feel like a shitty person for doing it.

Yes, exactly! (and LOL at "Trinity's ex")

Just stopping by to brag that I have met Greg Sestero (or, as Tommy calls him, “Sestosterone”) *twice* and he is so nice, and kind of quiet, and A LITTLE WEIRD. He also does THE BEST impression of Tommy.

yes and OMG she is amazing - don't want to give too many spoilers, but she's not a MAJOR character (I would say she's in most episodes but not all) but every time she appears she is just GUT WRENCHINGLY wonderful

I think it's called booze

you're a genius! I'm gonna slap those babies on eBay tonight!

OHHHH thanks for the info, I’ll definitely check out Moving Comfort! I am a Brooks devotee (for running shoes), so I like the sound of these. How did your new high support one work out?

Got one of those drones for my dorky stepdad (whom I love dearly). Right on.

I moved about six months ago, and went from a pretty dingy apartment with no central air (I live in DC so its humid AF) to a brand new, central air-having new place - but the stove is ELECTRIC and i'm like WTF DO I EVEN DO WITH THIS??????? I burned so much shit for the first week

oh my god REVELATION: Marky Mark was basically the Justin Bieber of the early 90's. All this time I've been patiently waiting for the Bieber to go away, but what if he manages to morph into a successful actor and never leaves the public eye?! WHAT IF HE WINS AN OSCAR???????????????????????????

never tried C9 leggings, but their “high support” sports bras are the only kind I have ever worn that doesn’t require me to double up (I'm like a 36DD and a runner, so this was like finding a fucking unicorn)

I have a pair of knee length spandex pants from Lululemon that I hate. I HATE THEM. I can’t wear them running because they fall down (and I have a butt so it’s not just gravity), so I can only wear them to spin class. I have several pairs of spandex leggings from old navy that I LOOOOOVE, and I bought them on sale for
