I'm not really into James Bond movies either, they're just not my thing. I've seen a lot and just didn't like them that much. But!! Skyfall was sooooo good.

"See? I'm totally not a racist, I wanted Idris Elba to play James Bond." -Amy Pascal
It totally is but I think that's changing since you can only hide so much from the 24/7 news cycle. I think the best bet now is to release in the middle of another disaster and hope it gets buried. The North Korea news made today a pretty good day for that!
Oh yeah definitely. I mean, everyone. Companies, nonprofits, schools, Beyonce. Everyone has an interest in protecting their image and controlling their message and that is how the world works. It's the media's job to look at that critically and to dig further when they are stonewalled or told something like, "nobody…
There is! There is a huge market for used women's underwear, socks, shoes, etc. on ebay - it's called "well worn."
That is really horrifying and disgusting, but "cover their asses" is such a perfect phrase.
I'm not excusing nontransparent institutions who put up these barriers like UVa did (so basically all of them) but it's not "failures on both sides." This is par for the course with universities, government agencies, etc.
thats true but you could do the workouts at a cheap gym - most of the equipment needed is pretty standard gym stuff.
Yah that's true that crossfit people are super into fitness but I think the group/social aspect is huge (as well as the accountability aspect). Crossfit posts all their workouts of the day online, for free, and you could use that at a $10/month gym, but people still pay for the box membership.
Yeah but isn't this true of the expensive gyms too? The $500/month gyms don't charge that much for just some treadmills and weights - they have like, saunas and massages and cucumber water and fluffy towels.
idk, it's not a competition about who has it worse, but I really feel for the parents and I'm childfree. If a kid is screaming on a plane I have the option of putting on headphones/ambien. The parents just have to deal with it and usually feel guilty about it.
*shrug* I always RSVP and it's obviously the polite thing to do. But after planning a few bridal showers and various other events, you expect people not to, and you just track people down and get an answer from them. Usually people meant to RSVP and just forgot, and if they don't reply when you track them down the…
Spectacular: "This isn't Jay, I'm borrowing his phone today"
nailed it. although, i'd say write painfully long article about noncontroversial thing, start comment fight.
Rape vic? I know there are headline character limits, but...rape vic?
Well I'm shocked that this is coming from the same person who sings the lyrics "I only wanna die alive" and "now that I've become who I really are."
Jia should apologize but it's not like her to say sorry.
Pat Monahan from Train approves.
Hah, yeah, but Shonda loved Isaiah Washington and was not happy about him leaving the show. I wouldn't mind closure for Izzie either, though.
She's been angling for a return for awhile right? Hasnt she mentioned she wanted closure for Izzy on Greys?
