ok then. You seem fun!
ok then. You seem fun!
Nope. My favorite description of Houston is from John Nova Lomax who calls Houston the "mestizo megalopolis, where the Dirty South meets Aztlan". Most Texans don't consider Texas the south, rather they just consider it Texas, where the south meets the southwest (hence the name of the music festival).
it's cool. I should have never made the comment. I'm not trying to insult Solange, who I think is a total bad ass. I just also think she happens to pretty much be the reigning hipster queen of Brooklyn, so I'm not surprised she would ride a white bicycle, in a white jumpsuit to her wedding, where all her guests are…
In fact I hail from the same city (which I don't consider the south) that the Knowles sisters do!
you would be wrong
Probs so. I love Solange, she is a lot cooler than her sister. She wears the shit out of some of my favorite lines like Suno and William Okpo. But you can't tell me having guests wear all white to weddings in the past couple of years hasn't become a big trend, so don't get your panties in a twist.
ok then
I don't mean trendy for black people, I mean having everyone wear white to weddings has become trendy in general.
I'm a much bigger Solange fan. I'm pretty sure Beyoncé is a robot.
bah, she looks cool as hell. Like every hipsters wet dream.
Solange is fabulous. I saw a pic of Beyoncé up close and was not impressed with dress or the stripper shoes. FYI.
while I don't disagree that black people look great in all white, they're doing because it's trendy.
I'm just letting you know that the effect it has on models versus the effect that the current standard of beauty has on average women is not at all comparable.
I love Coco Rocha, but I think Joan Smalls is the most striking/beautiful woman on the planet.
having worked in the fashion industry, I agree that the hand wringing over the "real woman" phase is completely ridiculous. People can stop worrying that they are "body shaming" models.
Meh, I've worked in the fashion industry. I hardly think the using the phrase "real women" when asking for more body diversity or bodies more representative of typical women, is body shaming.
I've got to admit, I'm a hypocrite when it comes to my meats (yummmmm). I think rabbits are delicious but I don't think I could watch one killed as they are too cute & fluffy. In fact, I'd probably struggle to watch any land animal killed, although I could probably watch them be butchered. And then eat them.
The video is an absolute delight of a joke. But I will say that the two most beautiful women I know (one my sister, one a childhood friend) know they are attractive but are nonetheless riddled with insecurity. I think some of it comes from being told by society at large that their value is connected to their looks,…
Are men ever referred to as "over-sharers"?
Victoria's Secret is tacky as shit but they somehow have a lot of the biggest, high fashion names walk their annual show - Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen. . .
