I think this is channeling a 1950s greaser combing his hair (or Morrissey's imitation of that) as well as black people with combs I their hair. I completely understand the idea of appropriation - but if everything is now sacred, and nothing is allowed to be played with and reinterpreted, the world is going to become

Meh, yes it's playing off that style, but it also seems as much influenced by 1950s greaser combing his hair kind of look (or Morrissey channeling it). I know we have to rail against everything being appropriation now but people seem to forget about the idea of pastiche - which seems far more accurate here.

I loathe JT, but I'd have a hard time not staring at some pasty covered boobs at my dinner table too.

I think Miley & Rihanna are both gorgeous. I also think both of their Tom Ford dresses are beyond hideous.

It's fucked up that I feel sorry for him - I think it's just a holdover from associating him with my youth/seeing him as an old man now. Rationally, I know it's wrong & that he's vile & I'm glad Queen Latifah doesn't want to be associated him.

Whatever. I could give a shit less that she is promoting herself while raising money & awareness for PP. I live in Texas where my reproductive choices are under threat. I saw a picture of Lena on her book tour here wearing a Wendy Davis t-shirt. I'll take whatever support we can get. You know who I'd be even more

How dare this woman self-promote! It's like she has a book out & a tv show or something!

Is anyone actually surprised that Lena made a t-shirt benefitting Planned Parenthood and got lots of celebrities to wear it & show their endorsement of said organization & Jezebel commenters still make it all about criticizing her? Check out the misplaced focus!

If you have a decent relationship with him I would consider telling him again that he is making a big mistake (or if you are on good terms with his family, asking them to to do this). How awful it will be for your kids to have a dad that chooses this person over them. My sister started dating a divorced man with two

I agree, I would have never wanted to date someone with kids in my 20s. It just wouldn't be for me. His kids should absolutely come first, but it's cool if she's not ready for that.

meh, even if my husband & I "consciously uncoupled", I might be tempted to undermine any new relationship (especially with a baggage free younger woman - men love that) if he was clueless enough to start dating someone before we were actually divorced.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think it's in poor taste to introduce your kids to someone your dating when you aren't even divorced yet. Even once you are, I think it's better to wait until the relationship is serious (depending on the age of the kids).

How dare she remind him that he has children! For realz though - aren't they not even divorced yet? That said, of J-Law wants to be doted on in a new relationship, especially at 24, I totally get it. She just shouldn't be dating a dude with kids (which it seems like she figured out).

white boy or girl dreadlocks are nasty. I saw a female employee sporting them at Whole Foods the other day & suddenly worried if gone through a time warp & ended up in Boulder, CO in 1998

you've convinced me. Let's charge him with "feeling sluggish while bowling"!

I don't think Tyrese would have internal conflict. I think he understands Carol & probably feels a certain (terrible) connection with her after the episode with the girls.

If they aren't going to have Daryl come out as gay then I think Michonne is a better fit

Michonne? I think they are the 3 baddest ass members.

so by all means, if the media throws stones you should just go ahead and join in! I mean, what's the point of being an empathetic, rational person anyways? Prosecuting a doctor who unfortunately got sick from volunteering to go to a place and treat people with an illness that 99.9% of us wouldn't touch will definitely

give me a fucking break
