There’s a ton of great actors in that film: but considering the main protagonist is Sara Foster ruins the film. Picture that film but with nearly any other actress with discernible personality...

I just watched The Handmaiden this weekend. It works much, MUCH better as an emotionally involving romance than Blue is the Warmest Colour, which it seems fair to compare it to since they were long, arty lesbian romances with incredibly explicit sex that came out at about the same time. The leads are so great!!
 

Such an incredible Black Mirror episode. Loved it!

I am glad that Cosima and Delphine ended up together on Orphan Black, but on some level I still feel that Delphine, with all of her shadiness and deception, didn’t really deserve Cosima. But as Felix said when he first saw the gorgeous Delphine, okay, I get it.

I thought Julianne Moore’s character id’ed as a lesbian in The Kids Are All Right? I remember a fair amount of consternation over her character sleeping with Ruffalo’s at the time.

It’s the same problem that all of the Arrowverse shows have, isn’t it?

What happened is that Andrew Kriesberg, the showrunner, was fired for sexual harassment. Either he didn’t share his overall plan with the writers or they wanted to distance themselves from his overall plan for publicity’s sake, that’s apparently why they had the second hiatus to begin with.

I felt like I was being hit over the head with knitting needles... Serena should know better than to flash Chekov’s abortion instruments over and over again....

Or you just accept that Melissa Benoist, like Chris Reeve and Dean Cain before her, just behave differently enough between their human identities and their Super ones that it never occurs to most people to check.
