Really good episode and yes, Jon Cryer has been an absolute revelation as Lex. I also liked that Brenda Strong’s Lilian could read him really well. Lex’s obsession with killing Supergirl - was that jealousy about Lena’s friendship with her or just the old canon Krytonian hating Lex?

The change in narrative style with the overlapping timeframes and characters rather the pan location chyrons was interesting but this was a step down from last week’s episode for me. Ep3 was like classic Phoebe Waller-Bridge S1 - almost every scene having memorable lines and absurd setting - Carolyn in the bath,

You skipped the S4 opener Adventures in The Sin Trade that had REAL horns! Xena and Alti and the little Amazon antler headdresses :)

Replying to my own post. Got to the end and boy was that daft! More fairy tale ridiculous than QT’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Really went off the rails and S6 of Glee BAD!

I’m mostly still watching just to get to the end and for Viola Davis and Liza Weil as this show has rewritten the past and everyone’s motives so many times it is hard to keep track of the plot twists. It’s preposterous but still engaging due to the quality of the cast.  Don’t really give a fig about the younger cast

I’m up to episode 6 and am quite enjoying it, but it has an odd tone. Sometimes the sexist, racist world of old Hollywood, sometimes a modern take on race, gender and sexuality. I have trouble telling the difference between the two male leads. Well, until they open their mouths as the guy playing Rock Hudson is a

It was just lovely to see these old friends again, and all looking not much different to when the show ended. I loved seeing Leslie and Ann having a sweet moment, PERD! Paul Rudd and the other cameos but mostly, the great chemistry the cast have, even over remote connections. I realised just how much  I missed hanging

Brits, did you spot the Boots reference - remember it was where Fleabag told Claire she had been in ep1 of S2. A high street staple here :)

I enjoyed that finale. Was it too preposterous to have a happy and glam Carrie showing herself to be Saul’s new asset? Maybe, and it was pretty much classic spy craft LeCarre style with bag drops in the ladies room at the concert. However, we have suffered along with Carrie for so long. The bipolar swings, the double

I’m glad to see most others here agreeing me with that this was definitely an A grade episode. The show has been a bit predictable in terms of the Eve/Villanelle interaction. I was really surprised to see Villanelle show up on the bus and thought it might be a dream sequence for a bit! These two just can’t quit each

I’ve just watched the first 3 eps on Apple TV. It was fine but about what you’d expect from a pulpy legal thriller .. from about 10 years ago! Perfect families, teens secret personal politics played out on social media, hidden past, stunning kitchens, SUVs. Evans and Dockery are the ridiculously attractive and

High Art is one of my favourite films ever and Clarkson is excellent in it.she seems lovely, nice interview.

Just watched this film. Absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous film making and exquisite performances from the lead actresses too. Almost every shot looks like it could be in the wall of a gallery. Interesting to compare to Blue is the Warmest Colour, which while there were things I liked a lot about it, in hindsight, the

I’m a Brit so don’t know any of these people (except for Gloria Steinem). Cate Blanchett is like the Dolores Umbridge of the story. So charming and nice and pretty much the devil! She manipulated Sarah Paulson’s character into being the one to call out the racists Southern women so she could save the day and I

Is it just me or is every episode these days ‘will Kim be ok this week?’ That final scene with Lalo and the very prominent gun in his belt sitting there with Kim and Jimmy was so tense. I wasn’t sure whether to stand up and applaud Kim for having the guts to stand up to him or further worrying her words and actions

Poor Kenny! Doomed from the start with that name.. However, probably the only way to pull a Eve back into the game. After all that happened, there was not an easy way to see her wanting to go hunting for a dangerous criminal organisation and tangling with Villanelle again. The line about her being lucky she was found

The Kings are hugely under appreciated as creators in my opinion. The Good Wife, Braindead, Evil and of course, The Good Fight are outstanding pieces of television and I love the originality they bring to what could be pretty standard genres. This first episode was bonkers but Christine Baranski is just so watchable

Question: have Jimmy and Kim ever said ‘I love you’?  It was actually really nice to see them happy and affectionate. If they kill Kim off I will never forgive them!

The show presented zero evidence of her guilt. The restraining order her husband put in (and by the way, if that was his written documents, how does someone with such poor literacy skills get to be a multimillionaire?) was no more evidence of her guilt than the many people who have domestic troubles. He was shady AF

I love a good Netflix documentary and while this was fascinating, unlike Cheer, pretty much everyone in Tiger King was an obnoxious human being! Cheer had you believing Jerry, Ladarius, Lexie and the rest were struggling but trying to be good people. The people in this show were the worst of humanity! The most telling
