Agreed. I was pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have Lena and Kara sitting on the sofa in Lena’s office with a ‘let’s not ever break up again.’ cosy ending. To have Lena get Eve to take the fall yet Kara and Lena know that was a cover story that may convince the FBI but they KNOW Lena is walking a fine line.

Never read the comics and not interested in doing so, but as an episode,of television, this was great. Jean Smart owned it. Love seeing her give no fucks attitude as she shot people, dismissed beurocratic cops and politicians and was just unapologetically badass!

The one plot I’m enjoying immensely is Lena’s scheming and plotting. She is still just about redeemable and I think later in the season there will come a moment Lena will have to make a big choice between turning truly villainous - which I hope they pull back on and have her see the error of her hurt-and-betrayed…
