I agree. The Petra/Jane/Raf parents of Mateo, Ellie and Anna are an adorable family unit and indeed, Jane breaking up with Raf does mess with their odd but functional family dynamic.

I’m glad Jodie Comer got out of the pyjamas and bad clothes. Villanelle is such a stylish girl, but in a slightly whacky way. That animal head? Are we sure Jodie was under there??

I did like it but am not a super fan who worships everything MCU. Read a few comics as a kid but don’t consider Marvel comics great literature. I had a few random thoughts.

That photo of Adam and the date, was that Lena stalling or was it really the event she said? Has she owned up to killing her first test subject?

Agreed this was a very enjoyable episode. Loved Sara and Ava in IKEA purgatory but I really want to see the behind the scenes photos of the Ava dolls - looks like they had fun creating Nurse Ava, sexy Ava, fit Ava and all the rest :)

I love the Jane and Petra storyline however, while I adore Petra, she’s not really had much to do in Jane’s life lately - apart from Jason having the hots for her! The show hadn’t revisited them as friends as much recently as they both have partner dramas. The family brunches with the kids haven’t been as prominent

Totally agree, an ok-good episode but when the bar for Legends insanity is so high, a relatively straightforward episode like this is a bit of a place holder. Not sure Mona has earned that friendship from Sara. She hasn’t spent much time with the Legends and has indeed been the root cause of Sara’s problems with Ava.

Thanks for the coverage Allison. This was a wonderful ending to a fantastically original and clever show. So many tv shows and films spend so much time making is ALL about who ends up with who. Let’s face it, many many people do not find their ‘one’ and stay with them forever and ever. I loved that Rebecca said

This episode was a little too angsty for me. I love Avalance so didn’t like that fight. But I also agree with others that Ava’s motives were odd. She has always been an officious but moral person. Why would she be ok with torture? Even if it is her boss? It seemed manufactured to give them something to row about.

Ok, so I finished the series yesterday. Overall, it was a bit disappointing. Stretching the movie out to 8 episodes didn’t really give Hanna (the character) any more depth. She remains a disconnected cypher, who struggles to connect emotionally with anyone, even her father. She acts like a brat most of the time and

While I have a soft spot for Nathaniel (for me both Josh and Greg rejected Rebecca and treated her very badly, plus I can’t take to Greg V2) I hope we leave Rebecca uncoupled with any of them. Her true love is herself - she hasn’t learned over the course of the series to know and love herself and does not need a guy

The first two episodes pretty much recreate the film but with lower rent actors. Joe Wright’s movie was actually very well cast - Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, Tom Holland and even the smaller roles had Olivia Williams, Jason Flemyng and Jessica Barden. However from episode 3 the series at least offers

Tired retread of a Trek plot. How often did we get ‘too immersed in holodeck’ stories? Plus Gordon (who I don’t find adorable, as I am clearly supposed to) manipulates and inveigles himself into Leighton Meester’s life in a very creepy way.

Wow, she went through some tough times. Glad she made it! But will Dany  survive the final season?.

I’m sad Eve was evil and hoped that it was Mercy with the image manipulator. She was a good character and offed too soon, I get the feeling they were just DYING to have Lex hell ‘MISS TESSMAAAAAACHERRRRR’ in his best Gene Hackman voice!

It is Brenda STRONG not Brenda Young who plays Lillian Luthor and she is possibly my favourite Supergirl baddie! Wonder if she is reappearing with Lex? I’m sure she’d be a proud mother seeing his devilish plans in the promo.

Supergirl trying to give hints to Dreamer about how to be a superhero was very funny. Nia is a really likeable character and her puppyish enthusiasm for being a super friend is lovely.

Saw Captain Marvel tonight and I felt similar to how I felt seeing Wonder Woman - not a perfect film, but that subtle difference of seeing a big budget action movie and it’s events through female eyes. For so long, movies have told stories in terms of how it impacts men (incidentally, never mind the shade of Will

I love space shows usually but this was dire! Elements of Event Horizon and apparently it’s provided lots of jobs in a corner of Ireland but narratively it is just too convoluted and I got bored. I’ve seen about 4 or 5 but have little inclination for more.

Yes, we’ve barely seen Lena with anyone but James for ages. Even the lab work with Miss Tessmacher have been absent. I was also puzzled by the break up but have a feeling (hopefully) there is more to come, some sort of mystery. Was she the one the Russians were calling? She appeared to be very upset right at the start
