The first Sonic Youth song I heard was Tunic. It was 1994 and I had fallen asleep with the radio on and it was like someone turned on a light switch to my musical awareness. My love for Sonic Youth was a slow acquisition of back story bc that's what life was like in the suburbs before the internet. Reading Kim's book

It does look my senior year bf tho. Who incidentally did have a muppet thing going on in hindsight.

Yeah, Cate's reaction came across a bit harsh. Like I get that she's an intelligent, supremely talented actor and she's sick of dumb questions, but the question seemed relevant enough to her role. Salty, Cate. Salty.

I was up at 4:30 with my baby, so I get it!

Kenneth Cole might make some sense given that he's used print ads for his brand to make political statements for many years now. If memory serves the messages often seem misguided, but he tries? Idk

Like why's she gotta be so cranky? Lighten up and let the young ones wear their denim diapers.

She doesn't look fat to me either but she does seem hyper aware/fixated on the weight standards of the circles she runs in. Like it's cool if you like cookies Murphy Brown, I can get behind that. But it sounds like she is so aware of other people's expectations that she has to assert her life decision to enjoy food.

That's a solid plan bc gifted diapers are great! The perk with using Honest diapers is blaming Jessica Alba everytime there's a blowout!

I just posted above about Honest diapers bc I received a few packs as gifts too. They're cute and they're pretty good with blowouts, but Pampers swaddlers have been better overall. Maybe if I'd had a spring/summer baby I'd care more about the cute designs, but they weren't worth the hype/price.

I'm not terribly impressed Honest diapers. They're fine, but not worth the price/hype imo. Good on Alba for branding, but imma stick to pampers or cloth.

Nah, people pass them up all the time. Especially outside of grocery stores, oddly enough.

I hate Jeanne Tripplehorn and it's completely irrational. Haven't even seen her in anything in over ten years, but I still can't stand her. Irrational!

$45 candles are silly. I love the volcano candles from anthro but gtfo with anything that costs more than $30 and is as small as a $5 votive.

I haven't been able to watch the new season, but I find Lisa Rinna generally likeable and hardworking. Yolanda had me once I saw her custom fridge. She hasn't always been on the best side of every RHOBH argument, but dammit I love that woman and her domestic goddess ways!

These gifs perfectly capture how much like Paul Rudd's character my bf at the time was. He was so shitty, but also hot and in a cool garage rock band. When WHAS came out I couldn't help but laugh and cringe at the likeness.

I still get misty about this scene from time to time!

My husband and I have a roommate. We also just had a baby. Even tho I'm pretty sure the roommate has no need or want of my baby, this still scares the poop out of me!

My little one is 2.5 months old and the first month was so difficult. For me getting a hot shower and taking her for a walk each day helped lift me out of my no sleep, covered in puke funk. If you're loneliness runs deeper than that, I encourage you to reach out for post partum support: counseling, mama groups. Hang

Yes! This should be Miss P's power pop theme song that follows her wherever she goes. Now this will be stuck in my head all day.

I thought the multiple beverages were weird too. Maybe she needs her coffee with water and juice. Caffeine, hydration and detox or whatever. It's like a trifecta of beverages. Especially in LA.
