You are not describing a socialist country. You are describing a social democratic capitalist state. In a socialism the means of production are democratically managed by the people rather than by private interests.

Ya this list sounds oddly self serving. A year ago, when I bought a new used vehicle, I compared the depreciation curve on 10 different models. There wasn’t a single one that was even close to being a better deal new. I’ve heard the Toyota Tacoma is the only model that would be.

It’s only slightly better than “If I wanted them dead they’d be dead”.
