Knowing the itemization in 3 compared to 2 is the reason I have no hope for 4. Itemization in 3 is GARBAGE. The only choice in if something is better or not was “does it make the dps or toughness numbers go higher”.

Complete aside: Last Epoch recently got its multiplayer update, been quite a lot of fun so far. Not as impenetrable as PoE and more modern than Grim Dawn.

This bums me out, and was my main concern. I prefer D2:Ressurected to D3, and always prefered D2 at peak. It was refreshing going back to a game where you couldn’t faceroll the gameplay and watch explosions cross the screen.
