Wipes are common in extraction style games...BUT, those games actually have a reason for them. DMZ doesn’t have any meaningful loot, and there isn’t really an out-of-raid economy. Everything leads to Player/battlpass xp.

Same boat here, I get maybe 1-3 games in a week and while it was slow going I at least felt like I was making steady progress. On the upside I’ll have a lot free hard drive space soon.
i really hope they fix crashes in DMZ, it sucks to get kitted up and then crash and lose everything because the game thinks you disconnected
Leaving aside the political aspects (although Rowling being an exhausting whiny TERF and an asshole more generally definitely influenced my decision to ignore this game) this really underscores why HP canon expansions stink: The books exist in a curated world that totally falls apart the minute you take the focus off…
Yup, when measuring the pros and cons, the practice makes lots of sense for all involved. That said I’m in no rush to give Blizzard money.
This is by far the smartest way of doing it. It makes the collector’s editions platform agnostic. This eliminates instances where you want the collector’s edition but the only one they have in stock is for a platform you don’t own.
I've seen this a few times with multi platform games. The company is trying to avoid a ton of different skus for different editions on top of different platforms. Also helps buyers who find special editions being available but for a different platform.
I mean, if “provides gender affirming care to trans children in consultation with a doctor” is sufficient evidence of abuse to take people’s children from them and throw them in jail, Cruz probably deserves the death penalty for this.
The Steam Deck is exactly like the Nomad in that it’s a portable way to play games from another platform but has no exclusive titles of its own.
You need to be Rank 28 to use the heartbeat sensor. It’ll be under tactical equipment. And, yes, field upgrades are limited on the field, but you can replenish them each following deployment, even if you die. Unlike, say, contraband weapons.
The level of delusion one must succumb to to continue to think your position is “popular” when the last 30 years of polling data say otherwise, coupled with their now 6th loss this year with ballot measures, requires a mental health diagnosis.
Also a DNA packet surrounded by a lipid cell structure a baby does not…
Ah the old ‘Stick your fingers in your ears and scream The Star Spangled Banner at the top of your lungs’ defense, eh? Why yes, its not the HUGE wall of opposition from everyone and their dog that you didn’t get your little body control win.....its because no one had the guts to back you publicly.
Yeah, reading the full Medium post it reads much more like Gordon absolutely at least partially blames Mossholder for some of the OST debacle, but holds back on really going full blast on him because he’s not management (or at least not senior management) and the buck didn’t stop at him.
Dude, Chad deserves every bit of being tossed under the bus that he got. He was actively part of the problem. Did you read the full article? It’s overly long but does provide more than enough reason that Chad was behaving in a stereotypical Chad way. As for Marty, he is just an asshole through and through.
having read the whole medium post (in which mick accuses chad of not only butchering his work, but also listing himself as co-writer despite not actually doing anything), i kinda feel like chad deserved more heat than he got, tbh
IMO seemed less like Gordon threw Mossholder under the bus and more like he simply didn’t step in to defend Mossholder after years of abuse by Stratton. You could argue that he should have clarified that ultimately it was Stratton’s fault and Mossholder was just doing his job as ordered but I counter that it was a…
I saved up in-game currency from duplicate loot boxes and used it during holiday events to buy whatever skins I wanted. All without spending a penny after the initial purchase. I can no longer do that.
I mean, the die size on the 4080 12 GB suggested it was just a rebranded 4060 that they were asked 900 bucks for. People calling their bluff probably made it tough to sell it at that price point.
As someone who has a little over 1k hours in OW, the new battle pass has sapped my love for the game. In addition to not really enjoying the 5v5, no after battle report, no medals, no levels, or boxes. Also, future characters locked to the battle pass, wtf, they were the reason OW is fun to play. I don’t have that…
Their new monetization scheme makes me miss loot boxes. That says it all.
