Probably just the lingering aftereffects of the game not being what was promised at launch.

I agree.

Eh... professional streamers competing for “world first” have a legitimate complaint IMO.

Right but again, people justify saying that about Michelle Obama because she’s tall and has sorta muscly arms - they’re judging her based on her body.

But deciding that makes her trans and refusing to accept anything else is harmful in the same way as transphobes who pick apart women and trans-women alike because they don’t view them as “real women.”

OW is exactly the game that came to mind, and yeah it was the same way for me. Granted some changes were probably necessary, but the constant tinkering with stuff to “balance” the game for the top 0.1% of players, only to revert the changes later, was so tiring lol

Well I’m wondering because it was largely the opposite in D3 and even D2 to a certain extent with runewords, with people complaining about power creep all the time. Which is a problem in its own way, but it doesn’t kill the fun in the same way as logging in one day to find your build borked by hard nerfs.

I hope these kinds of constant tweaks and nerfs aren’t the design philosophy going forward and this is all just because the game launches tomorrow. Because I really hate the whole micromanagement mindset of the live service model constantly screwing up the things I actually find fun in video games...

I mean... Nintendo moved on from doing this with the Wii U (which was a failure) to actually having it be standalone with the Switch (which is literally the second best selling console of all time).

I think they’re just playing everything close to their chest because so much of the gaming world is up in the air right now - their main competitor is trying to buy up big companies like Bethesda and ActiBlizz, something hugely popular like Fortnite can literally be played on a phone despite being a “real” game, and

As much as I want to play GoW2 now, can’t say I really blame them... the only generation of the console wars they didn’t unequivocally beat Xbox on was the PS3/360 era, and as silly as the whole “PS3 has no games” meme was, it was driven by how popular Gears and Halo 3 were.

Yeah. I don’t know if I can really fault her for getting out in front of someone else doing this WITHOUT her permission or compensating her, after the whole deepfake porn scandal, but... this is all no bueno 😐

what in the holy mother of ass was that laugh lmao

It’s funny... I was going to have a late start to season 4 because of IRL stuff, but by the time I got to it? I realized that the game was functionally at the “late-stage WoW expansion” phase for me, where I was only really logging in to get my dailies/weeklies done to level up the battle pass, rather than like...

I checked and they won’t let you gift it to someone who owns just one game here either, so no getting around it by pairing off and gifting each other.

I wonder if it could be circumvented by linking your old gmail accounts to a desktop email client you already use regularly (I don’t see why not?).

Blocklists don’t actually prevent other people in the swarm from seeing your IP or your ISP from seeing what you download, which is how you wind up with one of these letters. The only thing it can prevent is actual litigation, since I believe that requires uploading as proof... but since companies have basically stopp

There’s a lot, but to my eyes the most egregious example is at 0:27 with Helena looking back (right after the shotgun blast). That whole scene just feels... off.

I’m looking forward to it but to be completely honest, some of those green screen shots are Toonces quality lol
