This. At the same time, I’m not that surprised The Nightly Show got cancelled, or at its rather low ratings. I feel like the show would have been better served being a weekly show rather than a daily one.

If you mean John Oliver then you can show yourself out!!! He is a goddamn treasure and your opinion is wrong!!!
Can’t say I’m surprised, I found myself cringing a lot while watching the show. I honestly don’t enjoy Larry, Trevor or The British guy whose name I’m blanking on right now that’s not Trevor.
Outstanding. With his boring political nonsense out of the way it finally clears the path to us getting our desperately desired lineup of Chris Hardwick saying stupid shit about youtube videos for 90 minutes a night.
Would rather have seen Trevor Noah go.
This is a bummer but Wilmore will land on his feet. And with so many platforms available to share his insightful humor, it’s not like there has to be radio silence until then.
Hopefully this will make room for classic episodes of Crank Yankers or The Man Show, back when Comedy Central original programming MATTERED.
Well at least he pretty well demonstrated he wasn’t funny and the show was worth cancelling.
My black friend is gonna go wild when I tell him this!
Could Larry start his own podcast or something? Does he have one? I would listen to that.
Sam Bee and John Oliver!
I know this is going to sound shitty but I’ve always arched an eyebrow at ideas like this and the multitude of self-helpy memes along the lines of “you’re awesome and if someone doesn’t think so, screw em” or “if someone doesn’t appreciate you they suck/they’re the problem” or even just “you’re beautiful” because…
So, one of the things I learned while tripping on acid in college was that insecurity is part of the universal human condition.
I thought the premise of this article, based on the headline, would be something like:
I’m 31 now, and I remember having a conversation with a college friend when we were both 25. She was like, “do you remember being a kid and thinking that 25 was SO OLD, and that you would DEFINITELY have all your shit together by then? Like, 100% solid career track, white picket fence house, dog, husband, etc.”
As Anderson writes:
This is so practical. Of course men were in charge so it didn’t work out that way. Pretty sure they saw the iceberg and were like “THIS IS THE TITANIC WE DON’T NEED TO MOVE IT WILL GET OUT OF OUR WAY.”
Hot take: Selfies contribute to global warming.
What about selfies taken wearing maxi dresses?
I feel vindicated as fuck right now.
