I thought Martha had a nice character arc. But I do think her talents were underused.

I didn't get the sense that Sarah Jane was In Love with the Doctor. Just that she loved him as a friend with whom she'd been through a lot.
Maybe it's Kris Marshall……
Jodie hasn't gotten to do much in the way of light-hearted roles. I am excited to see what she has to bring to the role.
I teared up when *she went into his bedroom at that one point. It was very well-written, -acted and -directed.
There were a lot of women fantasizing about who they'd get to fantasize about next.
I saw it in the theater twice! I loved it. I was very excited about the young cast. I thought they were all brilliant!
Yeah, but those tiny feet gave her away.
(It's a sex-change joke)
I was fine with exploring what would happen if a companion fell for the Doctor during Tennant's run. I mean, it made sense—half the fandom fell for David Tennant. And it seemed reasonable that eventually some companion would. It also made sense for Rose, as the Ninth Doctor's regeneration was triggered by kissing Rose.
Exactly right~ Like the Jessica Jones showrunner said you can't top David Tennant as Kilgrave, so you don't try. You do something else.
I'd never heard of them, either. I'd like to try one, too.
A lot of victims are "squirrely" because anyone can be a victim of a crime.
Once they focused on just solving the mystery, I enjoyed it.
It was set up long ago that Beth wanted to do something in Danny's honor… Paul and Maggie suggested she help (work with) perpetrators, and she refused. So it makes sense that she is helping victims.
The only real problem I had with season two was the whole "unofficial witness protection" aspect. Hardy's personal involvement in all of that was worse than Miller's in Season 1. They'd be lucky if they all pled guilty. The trial was fine. As a criminal defense lawyer, *I* thought Joe Miller should get off. They…
Or more women…
I've met with clients (criminal and civil) in restaurants. Sometimes people don't want strangers or people associated with uncomfortable situations in their homes and don't want to be seen going into their offices. You do whatever the person is comfortable with.
That was a massive party for a 50-year old woman who works in a shop in such a small town! Where did all those people come from?
It's just the impression I get from Chibnall. He tends to do intense drama, crime-solving, and is very detail-oriented. I just suspect he's going to go for more realism, more character development, longer story arcs, maybe more along the lines of the classic series, where there were multiple parts.
