I love Laura Fraser. (She was great as Henriette to David Tennant's Casanova) I hope she gets more to do.

#irony.

The one that sticks out in my mind is The Green Death from Pertwee's era. Very pro-environment, anti-corporation.

You'd think he'd at least take her to Alamo where they could eat & drink AND she'd get tossed out by management for texting during the movie.

He should have taken her to Alamo Drafthouse. They'd have taken her out for him.

Molly Ringwald barely got to say anything! What a waste!

I liked it up until the space bugs and poor Mariah Gale as the wooden mom/daughter. It just seemed nonsensical. I suspect this is another one where Moffat told the writer "This is the story, the plot points, and the resolution I want. Go figure out how to make it work."

I am not sure what age she is supposed to be. Did she ever actually enroll? I got the impression she was supposed to be early- to mid-twenties. I don't know how much time passed before he took into the TARDIS after meeting her. It's all a bit fuzzy.

It may be part of the fakeout. Make people believe he is in the vault but it's really Susan…… or something like that.

The ditzy blonde type would be Jo Grant, who was the Third Doctor's assistant (literally). (She had a character arc, too, though)

I was very skeptical. I thought she came off as a near thirty year old trying to act like a teenager.

(Like Sarah Jane?)

Now Bill will have to live in the TARDIS.

Another variation of the twisted parent/child relationship .. instead of mom lying and saying son was brother, this time son lied and said Mother was daughter.

Hadn't thought of that. I just figured they would have him locked up when he was sent back to the Time War in the End of Time. When the Twelfth Doctor goes back to help, along with all the other Doctors, as we saw in the Day of the Doctor.. the Doctor is charged with staying on earth and guarding the Master in the

It was a plot device to get her to call him "Grandfather".

I suspect there is going to be much more to Bill than they have let on… and there was a lot of foreshadowing tonight.

I loved Donna. She made me cry several times. I thought Catherine Tate was brilliant. (So much so I went to see her at a comic con)

No one in the show is exactly a reliable reporter….

That's what I've heard…. too bad. I kinda liked the idea of a sort of anthology.
