I never noticed any Scots slipping through, but, damn, that was the biggest Minnesotan caricature yet.

(All the men are dead)

Yeah, I would never argue third party culpability—and the judge wouldn't allow a jury instruction—without sufficient evidence; but you definitely want to raise reasonable doubt by showing the cops ignored evidence or were negligent and failed to investigate other reasonable leads.

I also wish Freddie was mimicking Vera a little more. He doesn't have her cadence down. She speaks much more rapidly than he does.

Well, you're not going to let your client anywhere near the press, especially if they are mentally unstable…

My impression is that was Norma/n winging it.

I caught my breath when she asked Where's Norman. She broke my heart when she said Tell Norman I miss him. Beautifully written, acted and shot.

One assumes he did that at some point if one believes that Susan actually is his granddaughter… but I suspect Moffat will contrive an answer to that soon… He'll probably figure out a way to make River Susan's grandmother and Bill will turn out to be Susan.

Oh God, another hybrid-time lady spawned by one of Moffat's creations. :/

I've decided it's some elaborate backstory in which Bill is revealed to be a regenerated Susan and he's been around all these decades, after all… I just can't see Moffat leaving without weaving his Doctor into that story line, as well. It also would explain Peter Capaldi's comment about how revealing too much history

Of course, that could be an elaborate cover story, as well…. Has Kris Marshall worked with Chris Chibnall? I should think he'd choose someone he knows he could work with for 27 or more months…

(Maybe I am thinking of a Big Finish appearance)

I though that Alex Kingston said she is coming back…. But I could be mistaken….

I bet you're right. He's been coming around for 50 years, checking in on Susan. That's exactly the sort of thing Moffat would do. (Has he been erasing her memory every time she regenerated?)

Sorry, but I never bought the River romance, so why he would have a picture only of her and Susan really irritates me… and I swear if Moffat makes River Susan's grandmother I will scream….

She liked the chip chick—til Heather came along….

Has everyone completely forgotten that the Doctor wiped Donna's memory?

But if he's been teaching there for fifty years, and it's 2017, that spans all Doctors 3-11. Presumably he's there for months at a time, unless he misses a lot of classes. So he'd be there the same time all the other Doctors were wandering around. That's the sort of thing that annoys me.

Yeah, but they also said David Tennant would host Crystal Maze, which was absurd, but everyone repeated it.

Sounds like a Moffat storyline….
