Basically, all that Buddhist training failed….. He never got control of his emotions, never achieved detachment, never manages to consistently harness his chi.

Oh… okay. I got the impression that he wanted to reconnect with the Meachums, but I didn't feel like that was the only reason he came back.
I thought Jessica Jones started as a slow burn, got hot in the middle and flamed out at the end.
I think that is the point but it wasn't executed well…. It should seem obvious, considering he is announcing to the world that he is in NY, instead of K'un L'un, that the pass is unguarded.
* (of course they also haven't made it very clear what the consequences of an unguarded pass would be)
In the same interview where he said there was 15 minutes to prepare for the scene he also said:
"I was just going along with it day to day and hoping that the show would support me - that the stunt doubles would do the work, and the camera would do the work, and the acting would just wash it all over. It's been a…
Did the show do that? I didn't really get that sense.
FYI: Psycho is on TCM tonight before Bates Motel

I wouldn't call Agents of Shield trash.
::snicker::
And, again, they never show any sex between Kilgrave and Jessica… but, your choice.
Oh… I see… well… the implied anal sex scene was not all that "graphic". It was not a rape. It was a consensual sex scene. No rape scenes were depicted at all. There was superhero sex and implied consensual oral sex. I think probably one or two sex scenes more than advisable, but you could get a glass of water or take…
OH! And don't even get me started on that parody of Jackie Chan's Drunken Master!! That just brought home all the complaints I have about the way they do martial arts in tv and film these days. It's a stark reminder that these things can be choreographed and filmed in real time with sufficient skill and preparation.…
I had assumed he'd been cast ages before and they were just holding the news back… I wonder if they really had decided to abandon the project and then decided to resurrect it last minute.
After reading that Den of Geek interview, I now am wondering wtf they did for two years prior to casting the leads??? He said from initial audition to getting offered the role was two weeks, and then it was three weeks of training and then they began filming!! WTF?? We knew they were making the series years ago!
Why did it take them two years to cast him, anyway? I remember waiting for like two years…
He was cast more than three weeks before filming… why did he have only three weeks of prep??
Also… that FRICKEN "DRAGON"!!
Agreed on all points and then some.
Yeah, some people might need time to process emotions.
