Agreed. I had one of these as my first car. It might’ve had a blown headgasket and drank oil like a frat boy chugs keystone, but it was a fun little stick shift gokart. Great car to learn stick in.

They’re always available used. I love my TT-RS when I’m not buying parts for it..
And if I’m being subjective, that yellow one is soooo much better.
People don’t buy a C-Class/CLA or a 3-series because they’re good cars. They buy the badge. A few might, those that buy the 335i/M3/C63. I’m guessing that makes a very small number of those brands’ lines’ sales.
Just don’t tell people how much they can get a used TT-RS for..
No it doesn’t. People do stupid shit in every industry. With or without oversight or training.
Why not hate both?
You’ve used the word “Sleek,” but I don’t think you know what it means.
I would argue we’re already “ramping up.” A ramp up is going to be slow, gradual. It’s not going to be sudden that we switch over to completely producing electric cars.
Companies will keep mocking them while Tesla continues to eat more and more of their lunch.
I understand your frustration somewhat, but I think you’re missing some key points here. Tesla has greatly sped up the development and research of batteries for automotive purposes and has led other automakers, the general consortium of, to pursue a large number of electric vehicles that they likely otherwise would…
They looked great in 2007 or whenever the G37 was introduced. Now they look generic and dated.
That’s not really true. Vehicles from any manufacturer can burst into flames due to assembly error or a bad part. I’ve had an alternator on a Chevy Blazer burst into flames. It doesn’t mean GM is producing unsafe vehicles. It doesn’t even mean the alternator manufacturer has something wrong or defective about their…
Not to mention.. so what if it was? One car catching on fire out of tens of thousands with no backstory?
And at ~150k, you and three other people could buy them.
$95K. Even if you “could have it,” you can’t have it.
Agree. Not to mention the cost of the flight, planning, fuel, investigation, and everyone’s time in attendance. All told it may’ve cost three-quarters of a mill.
With 100K to spare, you could also get a CTS-V for winter. Sounds like a rough life.
Extremely useless? I have an ATS-V, and the trunk has plenty of space. I mean my other car is an Audi TT RS, and prior to that a Honda S2000, so not great measuring sticks, but I’ve put all kinds of things in the V and rear seats also fold down to pass things through.
Winter tires? Maybe if you have fuck you “I don’t care about the reslae and want my expensive performance sedan to rust” money, but I’d definitely be keeping that sweetie garaged in the winter.
