Apparently you have never heard of this car they call the "Model S." You know, the highest rated car Consumer Reports has ever had.

You said it. The drop was a couple of weeks ago. It was painful. I expected them to get closer to $300. Then again, since I got in at $84 a share, I can't complain too much.

Then, judging by their stock price, you've been missing out.

I'm in Virginia, and I do work in DC. That's what he's getting at.

Except that ford used to own them.

I want to say that People don't buy them because they look boring. They've been the same basic design for many years. It appears to be a well-rounded vehicle, though.

You can slap a turbo on an existing s2k and make close to that kinda power. Pricing it at 60k is CP.

One of my biggest concerns (I'm a bit proponent of electric vehicles) about the adoption of EVs is that there will be a lack of residential places to plug-in in metro areas. Ie if you live in an apartment complex, if they are nice enough to adopt a charger for you, they'll charge you some ungodly utility fee.

I'm very confident electric cars will greatly take off when Tesla's gen3 arrives, assuming they can hit a price of ~35-40k. Driving down the battery costs has a huge potential impact for the commercial vehicle market as well.

So, what I've learned is that I shouldn't take my s2000 there.

Thanks!

Weird. I could've swore it was fwd. My Saab 9-5, which was based off of it, was.

Can't believe this guy has been omitted.

I've never understood the desire to have a roof when you can have a removable one.

Convertible, for sure.

I have some friends who are auto nerds (one owns a Fiesta ST and an M3 for tracking, another an S5, I have an s2000) and some who are not (Ford Fiestas, Focus, Honda Civics, Fit)—it's pretty much the same range as straight people. However, my scope generally excludes the wildly flamboyant ones.

The difference is that McDonalds isn't going to relocate to another state in five years to get a bigger promise for the same thing, but I don't look fondly on their wage practices either.

Yeah, but the whole "give money to corporations so they'll bring jobs here" bit is just disgusting.

I was also excited about this car. But after hearing reviews speaking negatively of both its handling and its engine, I'm starting to fall off the bandwagon.

The Sedan's not an eye-sore either. A bit bloated sure, but it looks nice.

You can answer this question yourself, and it's a bit silly. Is an electric Prius different than a Tesla Model S? Just a wee bit.
