The KitchenIQ 50009 - http://amzn.to/2v0qKHe. It works great! Used it for almost 4 years now, and it still sharpens incredibly well. Also - looks like it’s only $5.99 these days.

Definitely my knife sharpener. Not especially weird, and I only paid $9.42 for it, but it makes cooking so much more enjoyable.

There have been too many times that I’ve wanted a Dremel for certain projects and haven’t had one. Those days shall finally end! Ordered.

My wife found a great company called SleepyPod, and we got a ClickIt Sport for our dog. I’m not perfect with it though - if we’re only traveling on frontage roads (max 45mph), we just let him ride up front, which I know is not smart.

I’ve gotta say, I’m probably not as hardcore as I should be, but I do track every single expense in YNAB, and my wife and I discuss our goals at the beginning of each month / how we did for the previous month. Although it’s not as intense as envelopes of cash (I love using Apple Pay), it is nice to actually know how

I have had this knife for about 5 years, and combined with the Kitchen IQ 50009 sharpener (5 bucks), it is always sharp enough to just fall right through whatever I’m cutting (hyperbole a bit, but it’s really good!). I love this knife. Get a sharpener!

And if you’re listening on a Mac, get Hermes! It’s lightweight, it saves your place in a song, even through a complete reboot of your machine, and it responds to media keys on your keyboard. You can also go back and change ratings on songs you’ve already listened to. It’s one of my favorite apps.

I was considering building a PC to be a media server / Gaming PC for the apartment my wife and I just moved into (she needs her Fallout 4!); however, after looking at prices, I decided to go with an Xbox One S (BF 1, Fallout 4, & Forza Horizon all free with the $250 bundle!) since it does exactly what we need now, and

Excellent - just moved into a new apartment, and was literally shopping for three of these today.

Yeah, I tried to build a tiny house once. After that didn’t work out, my wife and I decided to live in a 19' travel trailer - much smaller than the house I was building. We’ve bee in the fiberglass egg for a year, and we can’t WAIT to get back into a regular sized apartment/house.

I see the “tiny house trend” as a

I have a Google Voice number, so with Hangouts, everything is SMS and seamless to all numbers, since all SMS sent to my GV number are displayed in Hangouts. That’s the main reason I can think of for people to stick with Hangouts.

It just looks so much better when you have the root driver installed. Blacks remain black, instead of becoming washed out. I almost prefer it to the way the phone looks during the day, with no alteration.

But the non-rooted Twilight does not remove blues at the system level - it applies a red overlay that degrades picture quality. When you try a rooted version that changes the color profile, the upgrade in quality is such that you won’t want to use just a red overlay any more.

Agreed - I’m a long time cf.lumen fan, and I still wouldn’t switch (even though I love flux on my rMBP), since cf.lumen has much more control than this first version of flux has. I also don’t want to get rid of my G2 for a newer phone with blue light blocking built in until the built-in options have more features, or

Well, the wedding wasn't necessarily cheap, since we had it at Disney World (about $17k - my wife's parents paid for that), but for the honeymoon (the part I paid for), I bought about $40,000 worth of US Dollar Coins, along with random deals to resell on craigslist, all with points-earning credit cards, and the flight

Agreed. I thought there would be tips on how to comb it to get the stray hairs out enough to decide which to trim, etc. This is just basically "your barber will either set the clippers to .75", or he/she will use scissors." Useless.

Vote: Noctua U12S, with NF-F12 additional rear fan.

You can't use the pee once it's been mixed with poo. This works because there is no fecal matter mixed into the equation. If you want to use the poo too, it would need to be composted separately and properly, and it would take much longer before it could be used as fertilizer.

I buy CD's used at Amazon (or on sale new, if the album isn't old enough); rip to lossless; sell CD on ebay/CL.
