I guess. I got tired of people running away last night when I shot them with my AR. I’d drop their shields and 3/4ths of their health, then they’d go into cover or I’d get killed by their teammate. That was 3 games in a row. So I switched back to my hand cannon and my kd shot back up. Lol.

Yeah, like I said, my bad. I thought they worked the same way as Vanguard, Crucible, and faction packages. Didn’t realize Cryptarch packages are programmed differently. Weird that Bungie did that. And thanks for letting me know! :)

My bad. Guess others are saying it’s possible. Spent hundreds of hours in this game and I’m still learning something new. Lol.

My friend did what you did for HoW, too. He didn’t get anything new. Maybe it is true and just not that well publicized. Idk. Surprised people would be telling us to save public event packages instead of saving up cryptarch packages then....

The package is also locked to when they dropped. There is no way new DLC items would come in the packages that you received before the DLC hit. That would’ve been all over the internet and everyone would’ve been doing that. It doesn’t work that way.

It still gives you the boost this week. If you plan to do the gunsmith tasks, then do the Nightfall first for the xp boost. Then do the gunsmith stuff. If you do all 5 guns, you will reach rank 1. If you don’t have the xp boost, you will not reach rank 1 and can’t buy the armsday weapon from him next Wednesday.

Yes, dismantle them if you don’t want them.

No, you can still get rep this week. If you do the Nightfall, for example, it gives you 500 Vanguard rep. (But you only get 250 for whichever faction you pledge.) And you would still earn Crucible rep if you play PvP.

Engrams are locked to the time when they drop. It has been this way since day one, with each of the new DLCs. You will not get Year 2 items. Your best bet would’ve been to edge up all your factions, your cryptarch, etc. And then push them over the edge AFTER the expansion hits so it gives you Year 2 items.

“Try out an auto rifle in crucible, then abandon it.”

Yup. Don’t forget the constant bombardment of superhero movie ads. “ooo Ant Man...” “...go watch Green Lantern this week...”

I guess I can’t sit at the cool kids table. I would never consider buying any of these items. (Already have Prime benefits from family account so that one doesn’t count.) Didn’t realize running out of cellphone battery was just a huge deal. Guess you all travel a lot or something...

“Burn (Arc, Void, Solar) Skulls now only increases player damage by 2x (down from 3x). Combatant damage to player is unchanged at 3x.”

This guy knows what’s up.

I guess I have a short attention span because I’m already tired of it. I only watch the really major ones — Superman, Batman, Iron Man, and Avengers. Haven’t seen anything else. Absolutely no interest, no matter how great people say those other movies are.

Hmmm, that sounds mean. I don’t know if you get punished in MOBAs for quitting out, but that’s what I do in other games instead of trolling my teammates. I know everyone has different views/opinions on quitting, but I don’t ever waste my time if my team is obviously not playing. Every game needs to have some sort of

Lol. I usually just back out if my team sucks. I don’t care what people’s views are on quitting, but to me, I ain’t wasting my time if my teammates can’t play.

Oh. So boosting. That makes sense.

Yeah, I get that, but at least with DDOS, you’re not really doing anything. As I understand it, you give it a list of IP addresses and let the bots do their thing. With this, you are actively moving your character to the enemy to get killed on purpose. So it requires your active participation. That part confuses me

I don’t play any MOBAs. I don’t understand why anyone would waste their time not playing the game... “got nothing better to do, here let me log in and let someone kill me repeatedly...”
