Agreed on all points. I was also expecting more teamwork mechanics. That was one thing that puzzled me. Bungie patched the Atheon fight to randomize players who get teleported because their thinking was that everyone should know every aspect of the fight.

Yeah, that part is so stupid. And it completely devalued the point of the Vault of Glass raid. Why even bother if you can just buy armor from the vendors to get to level 31? The Vault was supposed to be the way to get to 30.

I saw this video this morning. What he did is amazing. No doubt about that. BUT it does underscore how much easier and simpler this new raid is.

Ah, I played the series after the expansions were already out so I never knew what was part of the main game and what was the expansion. Great games for sure!

Can anyone list any expansions/DLCs (for console games or games available on both console & PC) that were frickin amazing? I've found most to be lame or mediocre at best.

If you're a 29, you should aim for reaching level 31 instead of 30. All Vanguard/Crucible armor now can get you to 31 easily.

In terms of points, it can definitely be more. I'm not on my console right now, but I remember one armor had a difference of over 10 between what I already had and the max possible high on the upgrade.

That may work in some cases, but it's not always going to work out that way. When you hover your cursor over the upgrade option from Xur, it shows you the base and the maximum possible stats. Comparing my current maxed out exotic armor to the maximum possible stats from Xur, my current ones are better stat-wise…

Problem 4 - When you swap exotic armor, the new stats can be different and worse that what you had. An armor that used to give you +110 Intellect, could now give you +89 Intellect instead. Yup. SO MUCH potential. I still enjoy it and am slightly addicted (stayed up all night - lol), but it could've been so much more amazing and epic with just a few tweaks.

It's brilliant really. They're continually pushing the envelope to see how far people will go before they quit the game. So far the new story missions and bounties are pretty well tied together. Should've been this way with the main game. Haven't started strike or raid yet.
