You're speak in my language Ballaban. I will try to keep my list short. First, the 375 America Coupe by Pinin Farina, built for FIAT boss Gianni Angelli.
Hey, it's a big country.
Thank you. That is correct, they are currently $1.5m range all day long. The only F40 that has gone for under $1m in recent memory is the Gas Monkey F40 which went for under $800k because no one wants to invest in a screwed with F40.
Haha, I came here to post this exact reply but I see you have beaten me to the punch. I think it's fair to say that the only major difference between any of us and this gentleman is the money/and or luck of being in the right place at the right time to amass a collection of cars worth around $1m.
Pretty much. It was after Bizzarrini split with Iso that he continued to make these and called them Bizzarrinis. I think most of them (?) were built as Bizzarrini badged cars though.
Yes, I am telling them to get it together, but for more reasons that we are discussing here. I checked the car out very thoroughly recently and sorry but for the money they need to step it up a little. Not a lot, but it's the little details that are missing from the car that other cars in it's price point have and…
That's good for you that this current route allows you that ability. I was pointing out that many people could not take such a trip, myself included, and as a result the Tesla will remain off my list of potential next cars unless or until the network of superchargers is expanded. They say 2015 is the magical year…
I see. So you're paying an extra $2000 to $2500 for something that is free on the more expensive cars even though after you add one or two seriously overpriced options you've spent as much or more as you would have for a similarly equipped base model 85? Get it together Tesla.
Who asked them to? I was pointing out that they are celebrating something that isn't particularly useful at this point. It's just media buzz to try to drum up more interested customers.
A) I guess. I would probably just not buy one, hah.
A) Some people do. Also most businesses have a cap on moving costs. Anyway this is a moot argument isn't it? It's about personal choice.
My reaction as well. When did this happen and why wasn't it better advertised?! (It probably was but I was busy not paying attention I guess.)
No doubt.
A) Ok, and how much did that cost you exactly? Reliable Carriers was something like $1800 PER CAR the last time I moved across the country, and the packing and shipping of all my household goods was something like $10,000. Are you suggesting that everyone in the country can afford to do this? Be realistic.
A) I guess you've never moved cross country before, or wanted to take an epic road trip.
Actually, now that I look at the map on their website it's even worse than I remembered. Anyway I guess they'll have this resolved eventually.
As I said in another response, Chicago to the Bay via Arizona and LA is going at least 1000 miles out of your way. Also large parts of the West are lacking in superchargers and given the massive scale of that area (like Texas) that means you can't get anywhere out there.
