There is also the “Racism of lowered expectations” that the many in the left constantly do and that the article (site?) is full of it. It explains a lot how it’s “American imperialism” fault unlike their attitude toward religious fundamentalists in the US or Europe.

Eh. It was a curtain to provide cover for sure. But let's be honest, the left and right were pretty United in the view that we needed to invade them as a direct response to the 9/11 attacks. Was it smart or measured? Neah. But feminism was an after thought.

Feminist lobbying did not make the US invade Afghanistan. It did, however, provide cover on the left (however you’d like to construe that) for a war of conquest, occupation, and exploitation.

US foreign policy doesn’t give a shit about women. It’s not why we invaded 20 years ago. Women’s rights were used beatify the argument, but invasion would have happened anyway.

Saying feminism was used to justify the invasion of Afghanistan is revisionist history, IMO.

If ever there was a moment for monied, powerful white feminists to stand to the side and allow for Afghan and Muslim women to direct the narrative and guide the future of aid, this is it.”

Should America occupy Afghanistan? No. Absolutely not.

It’s weird how in some corners, Islam gets in the mix and some left sides tune completely changes. Because of the interaction, there is no group I probably have more problems with than Evangelicals but they have a point in that if a there is a christian group or person that even mentions the bible in something and he

I don’t know why you think people would be against you for that, you’re correct.  He’s her employee, got shot while doing work for her.  She’s very much responsible for offering what would essentially workman’s comp.

I’m sorry, did Gaga not pay Ryan Fischer a ton of money for recovering from getting shot? I know everybody loves her and worships her, but she was still his employer. As Ryan was shot while walking her dogs that the attackers were trying to dognap, she’s liable and ethically obligated to take care of him.

If their religion didn’t have such a death grip on the US, I’d be fine with her going off on anything she wants.

Yeah, that’s weird and lame.

WHAT

Thanks to my nieces, I’ve seen more Victorious than I ever wanted. It’s full of jokes about the teen actresses tits. There’s entendres about getting slapped in the face with sausage. There was a scene where five guys are super-soaker blasting Ariana Grande while she shimmies.

Wasn’t he the subject of a lot of pedo bear rumors?  Why didn’t he address those?

“The law, in its majestic equality, forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal loaves of bread”

Famous Women are Expected to be Conventionally Attractive and Famous Men Dont Have to Be” would be a better headline.

I remember watching that as well. Not being Roman Catholic, it hit me differently—I was like “huh, what’s that about.” It was only later I realized what a big deal it was.

Twitter was a mistake.

Trump pretended to care about asylum seekers making the dangerous journey to the US borders, talking about coyotes, cartels and children. He told them not to come.
