This. I was a total creep, largely because I had no guidance and no clue. I suspect that’s common. Like, it needs to change, but we treat juveniles as juveniles for a reason; to an extent it’s on the role model and guardian figures to do or say something.

TBH I do suspect a lot of foreigners view the US as a place where people get shot a lot and everyone eats pizza at every meal. I don’t think anybody’s country really gets a nuanced look from anybody else who isn’t focused on it.
