Do we know the woman’s race?
Do we know the woman’s race?
Sometimes you’re just going through the motions, man.
I’m so tired of waiting for the zombie thing to blow over.
Because the connotations are entirely different? “Stanning” implies that the defense comes from personal loyalty rather than any kind of impartial reasoning, and that’s an important part of the statement the author’s making, you fucking pedant.
This. She’s clearly got some issues as a human being, but the hair game is on fleek.
27/m and I find myself wondering if I’ve missed this cue, so I feel you.
> (PSA: using intentionally goofy and infantile language can have negative effects on your kids’ development. That’s not a problem with animals, though, so be as ridiculous as you like with them! Convenient, huh?)
Linguistics MA here. This isn’t actually a thing that happens.
Seriously, especially when the problem’s genetic in origin! Why would you clone something that you know has a cancer issue?
IIRC a lot of countries treat certain animals like juveniles, where they have “guardians” responsible for them.
I think those traits are definitely a factor. I grew up with a border collie mix who was absolutely brilliant, would do things like lower a stick sideways into the water off the icepack to see how deep it is, try to get help when my dad went up the ladder to work on the roof because she thought it was a stupid idea,…
Ah, bilabial fricative. Gotcha. Fellow linguistics type I take it?
I agree. I want to see what she does with her artistic freedom when she gets it, whether that be now or in two years.
Japanese doesn’t even have <hu>, does it? Isn’t it <fu> in that spot in the kana syllabary?
Sorta where I’m at, man. Even on a totally male gazey level, like, I don’t know what the issue is here.
My sister’s in this predicament right now. It’s been tough to watch.
He looks like Christopher Walken on meth.
I noticed. I mean, at least he tried?
And nobody’s even mentioned the fact that Sawa retired too. That’s a huge deal.
You know, you’re right; it’s the other dudes that need to hear it in the first place. Thanks.
Very possible. I’m a Midwesterner and I’ve only heard it neutrally in reference to food.
Agreed. I find myself, as a dude, being pretty closeted about my feminism precisely because I think people might see it as a feint of this sort. I worry, though, that by simply shutting up about things I’d be hanging womankind out to dry, too. It’s a quandary I haven’t yet managed to really work out.
