Some of em, maybe, but you don’t think Kloss or Gomez would throw down for her? I really don’t think I agree.

In the WWII era, yes, but consider the Nara period where Buddhist temples had their own armies.

Thailand’s had similar as well. There was a big-name monk in the 70s over there encouraging people to gain karmic merit by killing Communists.

To be fair, the monks, being monks, probably aren’t really involved in that.

I thought that was Kristen Stewart?

Mayer’s a known asshole, though. Bad example.

Re: 1: It’s cool. I’m 27 and I feel a little weird about how much Ricci sizzles in the dance scene.

The National Recovery Administration during the New Deal is probably what’s being referenced, although the National Rifle Association wasn’t always the horror it is now. It used to be mostly about hunting and firearms safety training; the social tumult of the civil rights movement era changed a lot of that.

Dublin is not in the UK. A lot of people died to make sure of that, in fact.

Are you a local? What do you think of the new pro team announcement? And the trades? As a Portland fan, I think we got away with murder for how much we got for Morgan, but if she can stop breaking her legs and get back in 2012 shape, she could really take Orlando places.

I suspect there’ll be some of the mail order bride stuff. There’s got to be a lot of women in the roughest parts of Africa and Asia who might see China as a huge step up, and some of those countries might have a male shortage on account of warfare anyways.

I don’t know; maybe it’d be like cats where you get two so they harass each other instead of you?

Re: Queen Bey: I’m just waiting for photoshopped cave paintings or those Bayeaux tapestry memes now.

Dude, my dad has no idea how old my sister and I are. Time flows differently for him somehow. I’m 27 and the other day he asked me if I remembered when Toto’s “Africa” was released. That was 1983. You do the math.

You know, that could be the next casino industry. Given the history, there’s a certain amusing irony to the idea of you guys taking us palefaces’ money by plying us with intoxicating substances.

It does that to me too, particularly the sleepy (I take sedative medications, so it’s pretty clear why it’s such a tranquilizer for me), but I really like the taste of beer and cider, and the atmosphere of the soccer bar, so that’s mostly a worthwhile side effect for me. Also, sometimes that’s useful; I work weird

Re 1: Thank you for saying it. I was thinking it.

Eh, it’s still around, although the Medusa shutting down put a damper on it.

Agreed. Also in MSP here, and I definitely get a crusty vibe. Maybe we just recognize it as such because we’ve heard more of it?

This. No Paris no watch
