That’s not what the word “mediocre” means. Strange that you’re so upset about it but never bothered to look up the definition.

I honestly didn’t know this show was still on until Lockdown during the pandemic when I found that it was still going this entire time.

You either die a beloved comedy gem or live long enough to become an icon where the behind the scenes IP wrangling and circular arguments about when it was last good are more engaging than the actual show.

The South Park guys have never been progressive.  They are “both sides” libertarians. They have always had some shitty views on some things 

Oh no it just hasn’t been very funny since then, at least in my opinion. It was either Trey or Matt who said he wishes the old seasons could be memory holed but those are the seasons I like. I was one of the people watching Santa vs. Jesus before the show even came out, it lost that sense of humor after 4 or 5 years.

I haven’t watched it for close to 20 years now.

Listen, if anyone can be trusted to deliver a script about media pandering, it’s South Park, the ancient franchise that’s been pandering nonstop to mediocre edgy white dudebros for a quarter century.

For the record, I’m a fan of the theory that might honestly be the darkest, which is that both of them are completely human... but because of the reasonable paranoia of what they just went through, they’ll never, ever know that, and so they’ll just freeze to death.
