DLC =/= microtransactions
DLC =/= microtransactions
Yeah. That’s the point.
I was just reading a great quote from her where she said that she didn’t kill her career - she killed the career that the studios wanted for her, and it’s the most rock and roll thing I’ve ever heard.
I’m not big on The Honkening.
Yeah, I loved The Messenger and had seen this floating around out there, but had no idea they were related.
The movie also sets Kylo Ren up to be the ultimate big bad of the sequel trilogy and Rise of Skywalker completely torpedoes that.
And R-rated, no less.
“Barbie doll comes to life and visits the real world.”
Good.
S2 tried to be a big deep character drama like GoT and the showrunners just don’t have the chops to pull it off. There’s a reason the first episode of the season, which was largely a standalone “monster of the week” story was the best one.
Biff Wiff at the Margartiaville would have been my tipoff, but I think this was a filmed a little before he really had his moment.
1000%. The show absolutely only works because of how chill and good of dude Ronald is.
The biggest problem with trying a second season (which would work, because this was a pretty niche show) is that I don’t know how they will ever get a mark as perfect as Ronald.
It’s really only the first half of season one that really sticks with that formula - though there are occasional one off cases in the later seasons. Once Boyd gets out of the hospital from the injuries he gets in the first episode (where he was originally supposed to die) it really takes off..
Hader is a good choice, but I think Ben Schwartz has been actively campaigning for it for a while.
If Misbehavin’ didn’t get nominated for original song in the first season the show will never get recognized, unfortunately.
This was the nomination swan song, and only for the last batch of episodes. Rhea and Bob got in, and there really wasn’t enough of Banks or Giancarlo to make a a dent in a stacked Supporting Actor field this year. I am shocked Cranston missed out on Guest Actor for Henry and Sam in TLoU, though. Not that it is going…
The last real fight I had with my sister was like a decade ago and because I was pointing out that one of these shows was obviously fake and scripted because the actors were bad and it was poorly written. I proceeded to point out every single story beat that was going to happen long before it did. No idea why she got q…
Take a breath and read the post again. They are specifically refuting the claim in the AV Club article that the decision did not impact Nolan. It’s pretty obvious what their point is. They are not making any claims about it being good or bad.
Oppenheimer is rated R, which will also hurt it’s box office.
