• If this music doesn’t win an Emmy with everything else I’ll flip a car. It’s SO good. I also love that I can just open up the albums right now and find corresponding pieces.

“Put a bullet in your head, Patsy.”
He was fucking terrifying.
This is an incredibly premature take. This relationship drama could potentially drag on for years, and it is my biggest fear for the show.
Peacock did an insane deal at the end of last year, where you could sign up for $2 a month for an entire year. That’s what got me in. I’ve watched several movies, Poker Face and Paul T. Goldman.
Yeah, from the looks of the other comments I think I’m a bit warmer on S5 than most people, but I still wouldn’t watch it again, and really hate how dark they went with that ending.
That’s exactly where I am at. It’s a perfectly serviceable (and pretty faithful) adaptation of the game’s story, but when I am actually getting invested is when they are going off on tangents and fleshing out / tweaking stuff that we didn’t get to see in the games, which was exactly what I was hoping for when they…
*counts up from 2017 on fingers*
You know that quality is a sliding scale and not just “the best ever” or “worst ever” and that by improving things is how you go up that scale?
Right. Hulu’s library is great, but that is mostly due to all of the ABC and FOX stuff on it. If Disney backed out it would completely cripple Hulu.
Agreed. S1 was a tonal disaster with what was (to me) a complete flop of a finale, but I liked it well enough. I though S2 was a marked improvement, that was mostly hampered by some wheel spinning in the middle - which wasn’t *bad*, it just *was*. It had a great premiere and terrific finale.
This was the least interesting episode plotwise, but in terms of characters and dialogue it totally knocked it out of the park for me.
Joel does specifically tell Bill and Frank that they are far enough away that they don’t have to worry about FEDRA.
Sounds like Frasier himself will be the Martin to this group of upstart youngins. I’d be down with that, I think.
I used it for ages, and I loved it.
When was the last time you ever heard of this actually happening, especially at this level? And the film never actually getting out.
This! Even if it totally sucks, there is so much absolute garbage that gets released, being told that your movie is so much worse than, I dunno, let’s say The Book of Henry, that it can’t even be released? God damn.
It would be so easy to couch it in better language. “It was unreleasable [in it’s current state].” As it stands it is unnecessarily shitting on the the people involved.
You know that Matlock was derided for only being for old people 30 years ago right? There are Simpsons jokes about it.
These old folks almost certainly didn’t actually see Elvis, because they would have hated it. Its incredibly flashy, uses modern music, etc. The Hayride performance would hsve given 83% of them heart attack. They think they’d like it because it says Elvis on tge tin.
His daddy still won’t let him see it.
