Sugar single-handedly restored my faith in the potential of advice columns. People have to stop just giving them to the children of the original columnist, because giving good advice is not a genetic trait.

Yes yes, because this is the Oppression Olympics and there can only be one winner! If you’re not being sold into sexual slavery, you can’t really say you’ve been assaulted! Give me a break.
*Important clarification* he didn’t say he wanted to have sex with her, he said they would “maybe make out” when she came to study at his house. I honestly can’t believe that people are saying that SHE sent mixed signals when he’s the one perpetrating the bait & switch.
#AbbieMillsdeservesbetter is my new favorite hashtag
The (intentional?) use of peddle instead of pedal in the headline is very amusing to me
As someone in a marketing department (thankfully not that one!) this sounds depressingly correct.
What seems weird to me is this: most of the time marketers are behind the scenes (unless hers was a public-facing PR role, maybe?) How did the internet’s crack team of “sjw” hunters even find her?
I quit smoking two weeks ago, and these people are seriously testing my resolve. Next smug douche who tells me he (of course) will be abstaining to “teach the DNC a lesson” if Bernie doesn’t get the nomination will be held personally responsible for my relapse.
It’s like that quote from Ted Cruz’s college roommate - even if we agreed on everything, i’d only hate him 1% less (applies to all Republican candidates this year, I think)
How dare these fuckers say that they have the support of the autistic community. What the hell?
It’s pretty condescending to assume she’s being “fooled” by anybody (and it runs counter to basically everything we all know about Warren). Is it possible she knows things and has motivations you just might not be privy to?
It seems more likely (to me, at least) that she just is not interested in running for President, which is great because she can get a TON more accomplished as a [potentially lifelong] Senator than she could in 8 years as POTUS.
he knows racism! he has the best racism!
Oh my god, Californication. I recently attempted a re-watch (because my memory is failing?) and immediately remembered why even Duchovny’s face couldn’t save that shitshow.
I named my wifi network Wino Forever (my mother was not pleased when she visited)
If we need to trim the character count, my favorite is always “short-fingered vulgarian”
Um. Were we coworkers? Seriously, what general area is this place in?
I mean, he’s the leading Republican candidate for President, and he’s also an increasingly-absurd charlatan. It can’t hurt to continue pointing that out using the only form of communication he understands (insults), can it? (Also, it makes it ever so slightly less painful to see him leading polls when I can also see…
But didn’t you hear? It’s pointing out racism that makes you a racist, not, you know, actually being a racist.
