The soundtrack for this literary act of manslaughter:

Irony of Ironies being that’s the dream garage of....a kingpin drug dealer. Because that’s one of the very, very few ways you could get a house and garage like that.

Shifting blame from the entity that pursued the criminal (and could have done so in a manner that did not potentially put others in danger) to the criminal himself. Nicely done.

She wasn’t lost. She was free. And now she’s back in bondage.

Shitty old comment that doesn’t quite fit with the theme of the username.

If the PR backlash outweighs the benefits of having that site there, they’ll cut their losses and pull up stakes. I don’t even think they actually broke ground on it yet.

Cops can get you for a million other things besides speed.

The police are asking the public for help with more information regarding the incident while an investigation remains ongoing.

Moral of that story should be: don’t sell your cherished cars to people who are clearly incapable of keeping them up to standard. You should have pointed that schoolteacher on a shoestring budget in the general direction of a used Toyota Corolla.

Until emissions laws or technology changes to where catalytic converters are no longer necessary, we’ll keep having problems like these. Well, at least in areas where car owners aren’t as likely to confront thieves with deadly force.

* Hundreds of billions of dollars in Covid relief checks sent out with no means testing—manna for everyone—was white-hot fuel for inflation. Dems may’ve slit their ‘22 election throats due to that move—ingrates forgetting the overall good it did. Point being: inflation comes from more than one angle.

Guys like John Z. DeLorean had a point. People have no clue what the fuck they want until it’s plopped in front of them.

Because people were expecting this:

If you’re looking for a daily driver, then sure. You wouldn’t be looking at a $10k 26-year-old car as a daily driver, anyways.

Next time, go to the news outlets. The keystone kops will scramble to make a response, if only for PR reasons.

Change happens when people demand change.

Sounds like the gas station attendant got snippy with you going into hysterics over something that, in the grand scheme of things, isn’t too much of a big deal in that country.

I’ve gotta wonder if the true source of all this “air rage” is the fact that hundreds of people are being stuffed like sardines inside what amounts to a Pringles tube.

“Mutt,” huh?

It’d certainly be a shame if someone were to show up in the middle of the night with an angle grinder....
