I’d share, but I’d never be allowed to rent a car again...
I’m basically the David Tracey of Land Rover’s so it won’t be a shocker if I say I’ll drive my trusty 17 year old Land Rover Discovery II Td5 from the UK to The Netherlands and Germany. Yes, I’ve said it, trusty! It’s been very reliable, and I’ve taken it from deserts to polar conditions. If it does break I can fix it…
It’s worth noting that the $120 junkyard lift on my $600 XJ rides and flexes way better that this canned “lift kit.”
It still doesn’t ride and handle like a stock XJ, obviously, but it’s actually really decent. And off-road, the lift is a godsend.
It’ll cost more than $1000 and a “little” elbow grease to fix my jacked up paint and rusty rockers, trust me on that.
saggy rear leaf pack, heavily-scratched paint, rusty rocker panels, and off-color driver’s side fender
They are amazing vehicles, I know on this site the Defender is what everyone praises but I loved my Discovery Series 1 and 3, they were awesome.
Discovery, series 2 I think. I think he ran over one of the bumper pieces was maybe trying to get a plate too.
Every single day since November 8th.
My windshield wipers are dull so I moved to Syria.
That XJ has the coveted factory spare tire carrier. It’s unobtainium, and I need it.
The penalty had nothing at all to do with blocking, did you even watch the race?
