One of my dearest friends has godawful parents. I’m pretty sure the only reason dad attracted wife no. 3 is that my friend made a crazy success of herself after the parents bailed on her & siblings as teenagers.

I would happily read more motherhood/marriage vents today. My husband doesn’t seem to be able to handle his responsibilities without 1) piling on a few new ones for me every time he gets an idea and 2) being shitty about it at least 40% of the time.
