@LTMP: Unfortunately, during many of the past decade's elections, God, Guns and Gays were the items portrayed as essential to America's survival, ensuring the electorate didn't vote on actual things that matter to our Democracy, but instead vote on stupid "shiny object" tricks.

@Fourdagon: I'm not sure how these leaks hurt our troops. I take it that the leaks actually help our troops in putting A: more scrutiny on where/how the money is spent during the war, and if the soldiers are starved for resources, it should put pressure on those in charge to provide the necessary support. And B: may

@getz76: And if you're handy - they're really easy to install yourself. Plus you can pick them up at garage sales or craigslist, meaning you can cool your room for less than 50 bucks.

@jbrecken: Now that's a picture - and wouldn't the cat's speed be accelerated at 18 times it's initial speed as well, causing it to splat against the wall? :)

@gotezula: Not just a face, but that sucker has teeth as well..

@dougdeep: You think that's underpowered - I'm running Froyo on a HTC Vogue and it still runs quite well. Froyo runs much faster than Donut (which was the last ROM I was running on the Vogue)... Try upgrading to Froyo - you might be surprised.

@Witness1: Thanks - unlike the first two that I've rewatched a ton, I only saw 3 and 4 one time. I suppose I'll have to rewatch them again sometime if I'm really bored.

@Kerensky97: Awesome - I agree, of this genre - it's probably the best ever, although Predator is pretty close, but not quite the same genre. I haven't seen the extra 15 minutes in the front of the movie - I'll have to pick up the single disk whenever they release it in HD as a single.

@apollon: +1. And please, make sure you watch Alien in as dark a room as you can.

@20tolife: Kids cost too much. At least that's my excuse....

Not sure if I care about 3 and 4 (although there were a couple of cool scenes in 3 (If I recall - the underwater swimming and exploding grenade launchers scene was in 3), but I do want to pick up a BR of 1 and 2 at some point. The rest of the extended content - meh.

@uu_ugene: Exactly - great way to extend your yogurt as well. Throw in some fresh blueberries and it's heaven. Have you tried steel-cut oatmeal? It's more expensive but really tastes good and I would assume has more of the good stuff as it includes the hull of oat as well.

@MrJohnnySpot: Spot on. I read - perhaps here at LH that the better wineries are going the boxed route exactly as you stated - boxes are cheaper and have less breakage than bottles - hold more; stack better; ship easier and for less money per pound; and don't let air in when pouring a glass as the bag inside the box

Not into the hinged bottom though - that could be easily broken or loosened so much it swings out when you don't want it to. Other than that, pretty damn sweet phone. And don't build it with crappy plastic with a silver coating - go all the way and build it with titanium from the getgo!!!

@Sam Edwards: And why would you have it built in instead of just having UV lights in a dock that could hit all sides, not just the front glass?

@vinod1978: Not just media devices, but tablets as well. HTC is THE company that could take on Apple on a design front. Their phones are beautiful and functional and they don't have a button issue as Steve Jobs has. They have the right hardware and designers and platform with Android. They just need to do it.

@dogm1: Yes it is, and this is exactly why this idea probably won't go anywhere. The government stopped stripping helium out of natural gas and allowed private industry to take over the process during the mid 90's and the private industry hasn't kept up production as it should have, since natural gas is the primary

@nurmanurma: That's just plain awesomeness. I couldn't help having a huge smile as I did this, because it's just pure genious.

@kylecpcs: Perhaps they built it on purpose this way as Planned Obsolescence so people will have to buy a new one next year. The differences in the OS are nowadays minor improvements instead of major upgrades, so Apple might be falling to trying to force users to get new phones every year from hardware issues instead
