@TheSonOfKrypton: As a guy with a long 5th metatarsal joint, I have to disagree. Sculpted and defined is the way to go, but I have to agree that those shoes would only help in that aspect.

@davidgreen360: Do you mean there were other movies besides that in the Star Wars universe??? Like Highlander - as far as I know, they only ever made one of those movies...

@rebeldevil: I would possibly agree with some of this hypothosis except for the fact that the fans themselves bring the total chaos, nasty, brutishness and violence to the games. They don't appear to want too much calm in the game, if they don't act calmly themselves.

Rosa,

@franco1975 [Troll ]: Not only that, but it seems that the pain would cause the guy to lose an erection, and in so doing so, the teeth actually grab tighter and cause more pain. I think the amount of pain involved might cause the perp to pass out (hopefully) allowing the woman to escape.

@FriedPeeps: I've thought just the exact same thing, but you would have to make sure the mirror was exactly lined up and didn't deflect at all or the beam would move away from the center point and towards your wrist. If nothing else, you would think you could make up a pretty damn cool prop, if not the real thing

I'd love to get certified, and as a fireman, the SCBA part isn't too big a deal, but there's something so eery about the huge expanse of ocean. When snorkling to the east of the Napali coast in Kauai, I got to an area where the island just drops away beneath you and the water temperature goes from tepid to cold in a

@Go Vols!: Here's the problem as I understand it. It's not bedrock under the gulf, but is instead a heavy muddy mixture of sedimentation. If you set off a nuke, it might only create a much larger rupture that would leak all the oil in a short period of time with zero means to stop it.

I think it's a tremendous idea to have government provide additional funding to green technology. For all the naysayers, if you look at much of the technology we use every day, much of it came from the defense and space research facilities - think GPS, Photovoltaic’s, Nanotech.... Now, does the drain of good minds

I just don't understand this. Seems pretty stupid to me. Take an ultra-modern computer that's in a useable form factor and put it into something ancient that wrecks most of the experience. It's like putting wagon wheels on a Chevy Volt. I guess if you're a true fanboy it's cool, but even then, it seems pretty

@nemo728: I agree with not wanting to go the full straight razor route. I went with a Parker 82R heavyweight safety razor and love it. My full review can be found at Amazon here:

@Hooray4Zoidberg: I love the AeroPress, but it really does use way too much coffee grounds to justify (IMHO) using it every day. Most days I just use the drip machine, and when I'm in a mood for something a little stronger, pull out the Aero.

Hey, I used to live a block from that address off of Oxford in Rochester. What a cool part of town.... Small world, ain't it? hmmmmm Park Ave. Fest coming up soon....

@JanetCarol: You've just got to look around. I picked mine up for less than 80 bucks (KSO's). They are hard to find now, but if you look at the forums of BirthdayShoes.com, you'll find places that have them. Certainly don't pay the price at Amazon (not sure why, but they are really jacked up there).

I created a quick little VB app that does just this. It recursively prints out folder and file attributes and dumps it to a flat file. It includes the name, date/time, size and read-only attribute. I can get it to anyone if they want.

I needed to do this for work - recursive list with date/time stamps, size and read-only attribute - so created a little vb app that does exactly this, and puts it into a time-stamped text file in the directory being scanned. It works really well and allowed me to find files that were different between computers. If

@Richard Wachler: I agree Richard. If they're outside, leave 'em alone - but if they're inside, I do tend to put a little boric acid down and they'll bring it back to wherever they're nesting in the house
