I use adaptive cruise control in my car pretty often, but only on long stretches of highway where I’m only focused on easy cruising. Any time I switch lanes or someone else comes into my lane in front of me, it quickly falls apart and gets annoying. But it’s definitely better than the old school cruise control that

How do you know the other car had adaptive cruise control on and it wasn’t just bad driving?

I absolutely HATE adaptive cruise control. If there was a way to shut it off and just use “regular” I’d do it, but as far as I can tell (2024 K5) it’s either that steaming pile or nothing.

Yes. More specifically, there have been multiple plane crashes caused by fires starting in the airplane bathroom - it’s practically the only private place on the plane, and if you time it right you can get a decent amount of time without being interrupted, so if you really gotta have a smoke it’s the obvious place to

Ashtrays should be heavy, glass, portable, and suitable for clubbing any smoker over the head with once they have extinguished their cigars and cigarettes.

Ashtrays are are on the “minimum equipment list” and all airplanes are required to have them for safely extinguishing a cigarette in the event someone is dumb enough to light one. Even if they aren’t built into the plane or have been removed, there has to be one somewhere on board and accessible to flight crew.

Planes can have a *very* long service life.

“beef petty”?

but they tweaked the door handle and headlight design and gave it slightly adjusted the body contours.

Imagine if Tesla spent tens of billions of dollars on proper R&D instead of giving it to their CEO man-baby!

Tesla hasn’t refreshed its product line up in forever, and it’s only really “new” vehicle is the Cybertruck, a dumb novelty exercise that is more known for its myriad problems than any so-called technology advancements.

I predicted that Tesla would lose their market share as the major manufacturers showed up with real cars with real content. I got pummeled by the Tesla stans, but here we are.

they have their side projects like Cybertruck and Roadster, but that’s not where 90% of Tesla’s sales come from

I can honestly say I can’t tell the difference. Which means other consumers can’t tell the difference. And since they aren’t advertising the difference, unless you’re really, really into telsa (like you know they call it project highland), no one knows or cares.

Especially when you’re an absolute lunatic who would rather be broadcasting conspiracy theories and indulging in petty beefs than actually running any of those companies.

On one hand, yeah…Tesla should be focused on building an affordable car for more people, not getting distracted by robotaxis.

Tesla is an AI not EV company so no problem there.

Elon being distracted would work more in Tesla’s favor, him not being much involved in Space X is the only thing keeping it from being Boeing... and I still fucking hate Space X. It is Elon’s constant meddling in Tesla that have made it so unstable, and also made it a toxic brand among its core demographic as he is

I actually disagree this has anything to do with Musk.

It’s almost as if having a CEO who demands to make every decision, but also has multiple other businesses he’s running is a bad thing!
