No need for sleeping facilities. These were never conceived to be long-haul vehicles.
This project was doomed to fail because Hollywood has spent decades making virtual reality look really, really cool. In reality, the technology is still lame as hell. It’s like seeing the movie Hackers and then trying to do any sort of digital espionage in real life.
The big bet they were so certain of that they changed their company’s name, in the process screwing up innumerable things on the back end, including locking tons of users out of Instagram and not letting them verify to get in.
The thing with the Metaverse is that it’s not a thing people want to use, it’s a thing people like Shah SAY people want to use.
I’ve had rough stretches in the office now and then, but I can’t say I’ve been unfortunate enough to come across a memo I would describe as
Exactly, thank you. As a trained policeman, I can tell you it’s almost impossible to keep cool when a woman is standing several feet away holding up a phone. Last Thanksgiving I joined in for a family photo and there were multiple casualties, it’s almost as bad a trigger as seeing a Black person.
I have a couple of questions: established semi truck brands such as Volvo have partnered with others to establish and grow a network of EV charging stations for their trucks, as well as training technicians in their existing dealer/service networks to work on these vehicles. What I wonder is Tesla’s approach to both…
That’s too low-tech (and sane) of a solution for a company like Tesla to even consider. Their fix will involve A.I. or lasers or something.
So with Cyber a no-go, I guess Tesla is left with a S3XY Semi? Hope the sales aren't flaccid.
Did anyone ask for more avatar?
Nah, The Buzz and all Busses are form following function - the short overhangs and boxy shape that allow for an immense cabin result in it looking retro like the original Bus. The PT Cruiser on the other hand was designed purely to look retro with no reasoning behind it, which is why it aged so poorly.
Is there like some version of the humane society that assures people “no asses were licked during the filming of this movie?”
I like to imagine this is because there is only one $30,000 buttrig in existence, and it’s carefully guarded by a team of dedicated intimacy coordinators and prop stylists who rarely ever allow access to the high-security vault where it is stored.
Aw man, we have a couple of 1st gen Atos still running around on our island. One of them is baby blue with 90's graphics on the doors. It’s truly amazing.
It’s almost definitely the stupidest thing you’ll read this week.
I now understand why I like it so much. My grandparents have a gold one (its been like 12 years since I have been to India).
Hey, now...Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger managed to survive the role OK as decent people.
