Is there like some version of the humane society that assures people “no asses were licked during the filming of this movie?”

I like to imagine this is because there is only one $30,000 buttrig in existence, and it’s carefully guarded by a team of dedicated intimacy coordinators and prop stylists who rarely ever allow access to the high-security vault where it is stored.

How familiar are you about the armor wars exactly?

It’ll be marketed as Iron Man 4 with cameos from Avengers...

Netflix has an And1 documentary you should check out. Same story.

Armor Wars? Perhaps, but the advertising is more important than the title — because who would ever go see a film called “The Matrix”?

War Machine is also already taken by a really good film on Netflix.

Preach the good word of IM3

He’d be a really good fit actually! And given that he’s already directed the best Iron Man film (I said what I said) it should turn out really well!

Now that you mention an 80’s blockbuster…Marvel should just get Shane Black to direct Armor Wars.

Introduce Riri in the Ironheart series and then have her as a supporting character in Armor wars so the film isnt being carried by her alone? Probably reason Armor Wars has slipped from being one of the earliest series to after the current crop of projects.

(It sounds like a film about the rise of Under Armour and their struggle against better-established brands like Nike and Reebok...)

I hadn’t thought of that, but that could be a really good way of tying it all in! When we saw those attempts they’d had what, six months? A year, tops? To try to replicate the tech. We’re now about 15 years later on in-universe. Something must have come from those experiments by now!

I hope they touch a bit more on what Iron Man 2 did in that courtroom scene (where they showed other countries’ and scientists’ attempts at making Iron Man suits but them all being decades away from any real progress).

If it’s using the basic premise of the comic arc the title comes from, it’ll be about a bunch of villains getting their hands on Stark tech and suits and Rodey’s attempts to get them back. It’s a great arc, and one I thought would make a good film when I first read it. It had a real 80's blockbuster kind of vibe.

It’ll probably be changed to Iron Man: Armor Wars before everything is said and done.

My first thought (non-comics reader) is “wasn’t that Iron Man 2?”

It’s CLOBBERIN’ ... wait, wrong Thing.

I don’t know what happened inside Archie Comics a few years ago, but I love how crazy and experimental they are now.
