Have never seen Extreme Ghostbusters, so I have no real dog in that fight, but I will say, they never, ever, ever “just adapt the ancillary materials from 1997!” when making a big-budget franchise continuation. They just don’t. And I get why. Pre-internet, you probably could have adapted any number of those types of

Said it before and I’ll say it again: they should’ve adapted Extreme Ghostbusters. While unfortunately named, the cartoon nailed the irreverence and humor while also being spooky and cool. I would’ve killed to see Micheal Pena as Eduardo.

It’s “Ra-One” where the robot from “Enthiran” makes an appearance, not “Krrish”

Depends which direction you shoot it

Yeah, but a big ass gun doesn't shrink your junk.

My wife has that complaint. We were watching a trailer for that horrible looking Kate Beckinsale movie “Jolt” and she was pointing out how much more believable the fight scenes would be if they cast Gwendoline Christie or a Gina Carano type were in that role. It’s hard to argue against that.

Most average people don’t understand how astronomically impossible it is to put on ~30 pounds of lean muscle in less than a year, naturally (in your 40s to boot).

Two funny things about this movie: the first is that it’s a sequel to a non-superhero romance movie involving humans and aliens, and the second is how there’s a random scene where the robot from Enthiran helps the main character.

Chappelle is using a very big platform and his very big influence to engage in the hate speech that fuels violence. There’s no question that hate speech contributes to reinforcing bigotry and that in turns fuels violence.

Yeah, it’s not as if comedy as a long history of being used to make political statements. Nope nope nope.

honey that was a lot of words for you to inform us that you have no idea how transphobia manifests. it’s tolerated because jokes are made that constantly dehumanize trans people. those that enact violence on trans people are doing so because they have been conditioned to believe remarks, comments, jokes and snark about

Star Trek boldly going where no Trek has gone before...

Fair enough, but:

I saw that scene and thought to myself “I don’t think I’m old enough to see this.”  I’m 50.

Because Kinja is garbage.

That should be Tendi's love of pesto. I don't know why Kinja put my comment in a blender. So bizarre.

’s love for pesto is so adorable it’s off the charts. And this was a fun episode with a lot of good riffs on Trek But, classics. I particularly enjoyed the bridge crew trying to stack crates and complaining about the shapes. But this episode does something totally unforgivable that makes even the Mugato sex seem
