As an Air Force meteorologist, with a BS in meteorology from Texas A&M and an MS from NPS, the amount of facepalming dumbassitude I encounter from hillbilly morons regarding weather is sobering.

As a weather enthusiast (and NWS-trained tornado spotter), this makes me lol.

Hillbillies are just so damn afraid of anything that’s different, including things like science, art, technology, foreigners - and apparently traffic circles.

Maybe so. URLs have been broken for a while, but the last change I remember noticing was not even being able to click through to specific comments from your profile. That seems more likely to be something deliberately changed rather than broken by neglect.

I haven’t noticed any Kinja changes in *ages* so I would assume they’ve laid off the whole development team and maybe have a skeleton crew around to keep the lights on but not be able to fix things.
