I would have assumed the Stig was primarily associated with the TV show. I wasn’t aware they also used him in the YouTube channel.

I thought they shut Top Gear down. They kept the Stig? (Maybe keeping him around for reviews is easier than removing a Stig from its territory...)

The transition from ‘walking and talking and fully active’ to ‘bedridden and paralyzed’ can be horrifyingly quick with this sort of thing :(
