Yeah, and Vol 3 kind of had the same basic conflict as Vol 2 — the hero’s father turns out to have murdered thousands of the hero’s siblings in a mad quest to create a perfect world. (Except Peter Quill finds out over the course of Vol 2, while Rocket already knew at the start of Vol 3.)
