YES! I was like, oh Charles, it's you again. And shot, again.

I was wondering, too - she looked like a dilute tortie to me from the back (my girl is a dilute tortie and white, and they look very similar), but she might be more of a torbie in the front? I dunno. (This is a picture I found, she looks similar in the front to Luna, maybe.)

I teach/have taught sociology of medicine in the past (granted, tomorrow is my first class this sememster so maybe I'll have a couple of rabid anti-vaxxers, but I hope not) and I've found this to be the case as well. Maybe since the younger generation has always known that really scary infectious diseases exist (AIDS,

My friend and I were just talking about this yesterday (at Disneyland, actually). It's people who are immunocompromised and babies too young to have been vaccinated who end up suffering the most. :(

I'm surprised that there are even Chuck-E-Cheeses in the Portland area. I would've thought they'd all been banned for being far too mainstream or capitalist or not having artisanal pizza or something.

The sad thing is that a lot of the people/babies getting measles probably would have been vaccinated, but were too young for the MMR shot.

I was just there last night and it was super busy. My friend and I were thoroughly disappointed that the measles thing didn't seem to affect the waiting time for Space Mountain.

Whooping cough is such bad news. It's been bad here in California, I've been thinking I should get a booster as well.

Right? I'M JUST TRYING TO DO MY PART TO GIVE YOU ALL MY MONEY AND MAKE QUESTIONABLE CHOICES ABOUT FOOD, BUT YOU ARE NOT COOPERATING, MCD'S.

My cat is not a huge snuggler, but when she decides to snuggle that is her preferred pose. At least she is usually nice enough to cover her cat booty with her tail.

THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME TODAY. They had a sign that said "Ice cream machine broken" and then had added with a Sharpie, "ALL KINDS OF ICE CREAM." I was sad.

My friend lived in Kansas for a while for her postdoc, and her town didn't even have a McDonald's. It made me sad. (Not that I'm that big of a fan of McDonalds, but I do enjoy their fries and ice cream.)

My cat's always trying to be helpful when I'm working, luckily it very rarely involves glitter.

You have office cats?!? I want to work where you work!

It looks like this school is actually in West Covina, which is in the San Gabriel Valley. It looks like the trip was to San Clemente which is in Orange County, so they were arrested by the OC Sheriff's office.

I was looking for mostly the first gif so I could star it, but the second gif accompanies it very well. A+.

Oh man, when my cat was a kitten, she used to climb up my jeans when I was doing the dishes. Those kitten needles are SHARP!

My friend used to live in Taylor! Hotter than.... something really hot.

+1 for oppressèd.

When I have to write FIVE syllabi this week.
