That...is adorable. We're going to need video of that.

No! It's a real degree from CSUN, I want to say, in Chicano Studies. That's why I find Devious Maids so particularly cringe-worthy.
Ha! How funny.
You know, I almost think it would've been better if she just said "a culture that wants to see themselves as people." But, hindsight and all, and I don't think I'd even be coherent if I was in her situation. Or, as Lalo Alcaraz put it:
In CHICANO STUDIES, of all things!!!
I've had really good luck with Zenni Optical - my glasses end up being a little more expensive because I am super blind, but they are still WAY cheaper than they'd be at my eye doctor's office. (www.zennioptical.com)
Oh no! Being sick is terrible. I was just reading something about flu anti-virals and how they're underutilized, any chance you might be able to get some? Here's the link to a CDC report: http://emergency.cdc.gov/han/han00375.a…
I have PCOS, too, and a combination of Beyaz and Spironolactone really cleared my skin up. I also use a Benzoyl Peroxide wash and Retin-A, although I am not nearly as good about using the Retin-A as I should be. And bonus, the Spironolactone is an androgen antagonist, so it also helped with facial hair.
She's pretty new - her name is Hana, and actually, I just looked up her first appearance and it was 9/13, so I guess she's not that new. Here's the blog post about it: http://sisinmaru.blog17.fc2.com/blog-entry-148… and their first video.
Yes! I just heard about Chikungunya virus from my mom yesterday (we have family in El Salvador) and apparently a whole bunch of family members got it. Everyone's mostly okay, but my cousin's mother-in-law has been sick for like 3 months and still has a lot of pain.
I hate it when they do that. Then they just stare at you like, "What? You didn't know I was hiding in the kitchen cabinet behind the super huge pot? Why wouldn't you look for me there? GAWD."
Adding a second vote for the lemon butter cuticle cream. I love it and I keep it in my purse at all times, especially because I am a chronic cuticle picker and it seems to help.
Speaking of burnt out on True Crime, I got burnt out on procedurals. I was watching Criminal Minds for the first time recently and when I got to season 6/7 was like, yeah, I think I need a break from all the serial killers. Yeesh. So instead I started watching Parks and Rec.
I LOVE surgical videos on YouTube.
Like others have already said, holy shit, Dear Zachary was so traumatizing. So much crying.
Oh man, self-hating former fat people are the WORST.
argh, stupid Kinja and double-posts.
Nicely done. I was just about to add that.
Cute! And Lilly is adorable too!
