Some people didn’t even know that was Donald. He needs some kind of recognition for that creepy nightmare inducing performance. Hopefully Darius doesn’t regret this so he doesn’t have to die.
The bar scene was the high point - I’m happy for any surprise this show doles out. And I’m dead sick of “crazy” Morgan. Not a criticism of Lennie James, who along with Melissa McBride is the best actor on the show, but his plotline is falling into the same rut that so many of these circular TWD character beats do.

Peter Serafinowicz does the best Alda I’ve ever heard. Listen to the recent Comedy Bang Bang podcast he was on.
I hate the relatively recent trend of adding weird projections or set pieces to the musical acts. I like having all of them on the same SNL set regardless of music genre.
I like Kate McKinnon, and I don’t need impressions to be right on the money, but when they have her doing so many different political impressions they all feel the same to me - her vocal inflections, pauses, everything. The DeVos one reminded me of Hillary. They should either drop the political aspect (my advice) or…
In a way, it’s sort of a credit to SNL’s format that Sterling K. Brown might do a better job as host one week than Bill Hader the next.
Was anybody else bothered with that old-school (not in a good way), unironic quick face zoom-in they kept doing? It’s a really out-dated technique to lazily convey emotion and the only time I’ve seen it in years has been as parody. This show has had some abnormally poor directing before but this still caught me off…
I religiously hate-watch it more than the shows I actually like
I agree. I was hoping that this episode would be the last time we’d have to see her on this show. I definitely was not a fan. But, did like her plan to free herself. The best she has been in any of the past episodes involving her.
Is anyone NOT hate-watching this right now?

As someone who was obsessed with The Soup and has missed it greatly these past few years, this show is pure comfort food to me. It’s pretty much exactly the same as The Soup, and that’s a a great thing. The montage of South Korean car accidents was hilarious.
