Was Minhaj actually told he’s not getting the job, or is that just a funny story he made up for a new stand up routine?

This is also a reminder that it’s been 8 years since Craig Ferguson (and Geoff the robot) had a nightly talk show.

I’ve been watching a lot of classic Doctor Who lately, and I read the title as Indiana Jones and the Dalek Destiny. For a millisecond, I was estactically happy.

Murray also stayed by Radner’s side until the end when she was dying, and they remained great friends up until her final moments. As noted elsewhere here, he also punched Chevy Chase and devastatingly called him a “medium talent” for being insanely terrible to the women on SNL. Maybe he’s a human being with flaws,

I don’t know why people always have to bring up that it started as fanfiction, or why you have to throw around “middle-aged housewife” so pejoratively. Yes I found the books boring and the movie (I only saw the first) bad, but this is a middle-aged housewife who was able to connect somehow with millions of people and

“Hanks, of course, plays Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis’ manager/parasite, who Luhrmann’s screenplay—which arrives with a whole forest of names attached to it in the film’s credits—places at the center of Elvis’ story, for some reason.”

If he doesn’t reverse the stupid ass decision to reverse all of Donna’s character development, then her return won’t be worth it.

I’d argue that The Office remained strong up until and including the Season 6 wedding double-ep, then it kinda went off a cliff. The Amy Ryan character was just creepy, which is unfortunate for the actress.

They were very funny and created a lot of iconic moments of humor.

I think it’s fair to say that this movie was great *because* of Whedon and not in spite of him. I know it’s in vogue to declare that the guy is an irredeemable monster and dismiss all of his strengths as a result, but he is an incredible talent who has produced a lot of top-tier work.

Galaxy Quest’ is legitimately one of the most fun movies of the 90s. Managed to spoof and parody while maintaining a reverence for the source material. Probably the closest to that ideal of ‘Blazing Saddles’/Young Frankenstein’ we’ve seen since.

Missi Pyle should be in everything

i love family guy, i cant wait for the new season

It’s about time somebody hosed off Daryl.

If you’re going to watch Twilight, do it with Rifftrax.

I’m a straight white guy who considers Montero one of the best pop songs of the last decade. It’s catchy as all get out. And hell yea was it great to see a hot-as-hell out gay Black man grinding away to his hit.

one of the pitfalls of loving the kind of music I do leaves me utterly and perpetually unschooled in anything not written by a dead german dude or dead harlem junkie.

The first one was such a profoundly stupid movie. Not even good stupid.

I’ll never forget that moment on Oct 10, 1975 on a Saturday Night- my parents out of the house and I’m ten years old and watching the very first ep of SNL. George Carlin— Also the first comedian I saw live thanks to my very cool parents —- at the Chester Fritz Auditorium in Grand Forks, ND when I was 12 yrs old.
