I was desperate with HG and even family members talked to me about birth effects, I was so mad. Having HG is incredibly lonely and everyone seem s to forget you’ll have to be strong enough to look after a baby in a few months.

HG is THE WORST. It’s not only the constant need to throw up, being sick on the street etc but the social isolation. It was 9 months where I couldn’t see anyone socially and at work could only just manage to keep going let alone join in with social chat. In the U.K. thank goodness they are now recommending therapy…
